Rankings are the least of my concerns with this team, but we may actually move up in the rankings with Iowa losing and Wisconsin struggling to beat Ga St.

How about Miami who beat that scary App State team 45-10 (at App State)? Do we deserve to be ranked ahead of UM at this point?

I don't think so... I know they are unavoidable, but it would make more sense if rankings weren't published until week 4. IMO...

if not for ridiculous preseason polls, we wouldn't even be receiving votes. And that's about where we should be at this point.

If we are rated even in the top 40 next week then there is more spin in the polls than what Hillary lied about in the infamous "corkscrew landing" in Bosnia!

I love my Vols but good grief!!!😡

If we play with any emotion in that game, we do the same. One of our problems is that we don't have ANY vocal leaders on this team, (except a 4th-string quarterback). Dobbs, Hurd, Maybin and Sutton are leaders but they are quiet and measured. Jack Jones is the only vocal leader that we have on offense, (somebody that will get in someone's face). Every one knows that the college football game is one of emotion and we play with none. That is why we struggle.

That is why I am cautiously optimistic about the Florida game. But if we come out flat against them, they will kill us.

I was hoping we'd tag on one more score at the end of the game. For anyone who didn't watch the game (most of the nation didn't; they were over on FSU-Louisville), a 35-19 results sounds boringly respectable against a G5 team. Unfortunately, at 28-19, poll voter ears might prick up a little.

So yes, we have at least a couple losses above us already (FSU and Iowa) with at least one more loss guaranteed (OSU-OU) and plenty more games still to go.

We might move up. Or we might sit roughly still. Let's see how the other games play out first.

Go Vols!

"One of our problems..." That is an understatement!

I don't really care about rankings right now. Just find a way to win next week. I don't care what it takes. Put on your big boy boots Dobbs, you're going to have to be ran into the ground.

I could care less about polls. They're neat to look at but mostly irrelevant. I do care that we are 3 and 0 and one week from being 4 and o. GBO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
