"We lost but" = LOSER MENTALITY!

Wrong. There were definitely things to be encouraged about. If you can't see that, you're blind.

Still not a very good team. However, if the guys had played like they had over the last two games during the first two games of the year, we probably have wins over those football juggernauts known as Ga State and BYU.

I like the continued fight in the team. I hope it continues and we see steady improvement. We aren't even in the same solar system as legitimate SEC programs at the moment. Hopefully, the Vols are on the right track. It's still going to be a long, hard road ahead. Pruitt and co. have restored SOME of my faith in them, but it's going to take a lot more to get me over the pathetic performance in our first two games of this season.

The guys put up a fight the entire game and we knocked out their Hiesmen candidate QB, and we beat the spread. We will get to 6 wins with THIS team that played tonight.

Did anybody hear the announcers say how many freshmen and sophomores the Vols were playing?

Eliminate most of the mental errors, silly penalties, and poor execution (missed tackles, holding, wrong routes), and we have a competitive team against top opponents.

Playing hard is great, but we need to play smarter. Proud of the physical effort but disappointed in the execution.

Not to be a Debbie Downer but Tua going out was the only reason the game was as close as it was going into the 4th qtr. But still, the guys played hard all game and the Oline played pretty darn good. Overall I think the team has made lots of progress.

Tua stays in its a different game but guess what same thing with Maurer.
