Haha. I didn’t even see that, but it reminded me of someone’s Twitter feed that I see retweeted all the time. Always has ridiculous takes.

The rankings lost all credibility with Boise State in Tier 2. No need to read any further. Whoever did this does not know much about CFB.

I'm usually shocked when I don't see a ridiculous hot take on bird app. Whatever it takes to get clicks, I suppose.

Based on our record last year this is right unfortunately. I think in reality we are Tier 4 but have to prove it

Outside of Boise State you could just about make the 12 team playoff in order for the foreseeable future.

As John Madden said long ago: "You are what your record says you are". The sad thing about this is that I really don't see that the situation is going to change anytime soon. 'Rocky Top' might be drowned out by echoes in Neyland.

Since you apparently have the credentials to provide some credibility, where would you move us to? Should we obviously be in tier 3? Or because we are college bluebloods and won an NC 23 years ago,should we automatically be in tier 2? Or dare I say it, should we be right there with Alabama because in the 1930s and 40s we were the big dogs in the conference? There was even that year we were unbeaten and un-scored on, until our bowl game that year.

Anybody who ranks Boise State a level above Auburn, Florida, Penn State, A & M, SoCal, Washington, Wisconsin and the like surely knows what he's talking about.

Apparently you did not understand my post. I never said anything about TN's ranking, just said all the rankings are questionable with Boise State in the 2nd tier. You agree with that?

I never put too much stock into somebody’s subjective opinion. At the end of the day it’s all decided on the field. And you are right it seems a little off in some places but who cares?
