Oh no, I'm not qualified to claim the title of Engineer in the state of TN. Actually I'm a Dr., Head football Coach and Rev. I gots thu sperience!I'm guessing 823 is pissed off knowing he had to go to college and earn a degree in engineering when he coulda saved time and money and got it the same way you did.
You motherfawker. I did a design for a hospital to have service that construction did build and I got a perfect score on that job and I have customers who prefer me over the college grades because I have real world skills and worked under a Engineer for 4 years and learned how to do every dam job my company has offers. And with the hiring Boom I am about to parley that into bigger and better things. I can work from home in any state I want.If he installed cable at a hospital we'd be calling him Doctor.
We have a "highly educated" engineer at my work, and he's dumber than a box of rocks. He schedules what we run, and the set up of the machine. I've done it long enough that I know, and most of us do, what style uses what fears, cams, cards, etc. He had it wrong one time, and I went in the office in front of everyone, not being smart in any way, to tell them the paperwork was wrong. A few hours later I got called in the office, and was told not to come back in and say he was wrong again. He got all butt hurt because he was wrong, and I was rightNo I put in 16 years of experience and 4 years learning on the job to get where I am. There is a couple with no degrees in my position but I work with the same people that graduated from Georgia Tech and Tennessee among other schools but I can still hold my on with them. And if I am lying then I am dying. I just took a different route that got me to the same spot. But I don't have a PE and that would be nice.
That's 823 and about everyone else that seems upset because I told the fawking truth. Nobody, but obviously that means me. I was giving him some of his own medicine but deleted my "coming at him hard" post.Who came at who hard? I just asked a question. I've not disputed a word he said.
This CIA? The Culinary Institute of America : The World's Premier Culinary CollegeThey're not, he was interested in them.
All of it sounds spot on. I’m thinking maybe you were only axing me about the very last part though.Nobody, but obviously that means me. I was giving him some of his own medicine but deleted my "coming at him hard" post.
Back in the day I quit Applebee's because the 23 year old Area Supervisor with the college degree in Hotel Restaurant Management and CIA didn't know how to clean a flat top, couldn't do a comp on the micros, and had no clue how to close or open the restaurant told me I was being transferred to NC, and when I asked what my options were he said I didn't have any. I'm aware of the college degree Sometimes being a joke, but not always.
ORB may have never been to culinary school or have a degree in anything "food", but if she has been in the business 10 years or longer and runs a kitchen she can call herself chef, in my opinion. Rachel Ray can't, and God love her she doesn't!
That's my opinion and my opinion only means I'm right to me.
Ain't that Right General Bill?
