I had full confidence is Mr. White and he delivered. Coach Heupel is the best available coach in America and he is an excellent game day coach and recruiter. I am fully confident our next recruiting class will be filled with Grizzlies and Kodiaks who will lead my Vols back to where we belong, at the top of the college football world. Way to go Mr. White and welcome Coach! We know we will be playing for the SEC and National Championship again in very short order. GO VOLS!

Tom Herman is 32-18 at a P5 school and went 22-4 with Houston and heck Gus Malzahn was sitting out there too and never had a losing record in the SEC and has actually beaten Alabama and Georgia before.

no he wasnt. not even close. but hes our coach so he should be supported, and thats it really.

This is not a true statement. I build custom houses for a living so I can tell you it is sometimes more than the money. I have turned down $750,000 homes to build $500,000 homes because I had a feeling I could work with the owners better. Sometimes it just isn't the right fit and the extra money is not worth the aggravation of dealing with that particular owner. This does not just apply to my business . Sometimes people are just happy where there at and money is not the most important thing in the world. These are the people that always seem happy and live longer

Definitely a really good hire and our best since Fulmer left. Believe in Our new AD and HC and F the fans who don't support them.

I guarantee you, They did not contact Kiffin, Or Herman, Or Malzhan or Freeze or even Chadwell because he would've jumped on this job in a second...This was once again a panic hire so you get over it.

lol. Freeze has a history of sanctions so acting like they were going to call him while under review for new sanctions is unrealistic. Chadwell was 8-16 until this year so acting like he is some world beater is ridiculous. The others I have no clue about and why they weren’t contacted but I know White could careless about who you, or myself or anyone on VN wanted. He has a history of finding the right guy.

Acting like Heupel is going to be a bust because he is not a big name is just as bad as acting like hiring a big name guarantees wins. It doesn’t. Hire the right fit for this crap show of a program (because of what we are dealing with) right now is what he did.

Yeah I’m generally ok with the hire among the litany of assistants and other mid majors. Maybe they have optics on Herman short tenure at TX but Gus has proven he can win over a long period of time at levels we’d love to get to
