How and when did I project any negative thoughts onto him?

You have no idea what this guy is thinking, but you are projecting your negative thoughts onto him and then feeling sorry for him. He could have been thinking about an upcoming exam in his next class or what he wanted for lunch for all you know.

It was not the only thing, but it was one of them.

And Scroggins said that he was concerned about UT’s secondary violations just before he signed with USC who is currently under NCAA investigation. You have no way of knowing what they are really thinking or are concerned over.

If you read what I said more carefully you'll notice (maybe) that I said that HE was looking at me with a look as though HE was thinking that I was probably thinking something bad or rude about him.
NO where did I say that I was thinking anything negative about him at all.

I'm trying to be very careful here so I don't receive a warning from the moderators for telling you how ridiculous your posts are.

Did HE tell you what he was thinking? NO. YOU are projecting onto Crompton what you believe that he must be thinking. This isn't a difficult concept to grasp. Have you been hitting the bottle a little early or something?

I admire him for that. Even as a fan, I couldn't sleep well after the UCLA and auburn loss. I can't imagine what he's going through with millions of people pointing fingers at him. even our rival fans are calling him the worst qb in all fsb.
i just hope that he plays like he did in the 4th quarter of last game.

As much as I hate to admit it, they are not calling him that, they are just speaking the truth. He is statistically the worst.

How about you think what you want to think, and I'll think what I want to think and I'll leave it at that. You are the one that's making waaaaay too much out of something that I stated that happened to me, and the way I felt about it. I see what my husband means now about some of the posters on this board.

Don't you have some Gator, Bamma, or Cock Trolls to give those +1's to?

No. I didn't know that guy wolfe or whatever was a rival poster. It shouldn't matter. He made good points. I only "+1" good posts. It makes sense he's a rival fan though... Because it was obvious his opinions did't run though a orange filter like yours and a few other posters on here do.

It's sad when you ask a rival fan, "who would you like to see against your team, Crompton or Stephens?" And there answer is, "without a doubt, Crompton."

This guy refuses to give up (as other posts have said) which tells me a lot about his character. He knows how he is playing (I saw that in his eyes when he was interviewed for top 5 on the Lane Kiffin show). He hears all the negative stuff about his play and yet he continues to show up and try.

I think that deserves respect.

Good or bad, he is our QB, so we have to support him.

This is Division 1, SEC football. Not AYSO.

Yeah, I agree with taking up for him. Like it or not, he is the QB for the rest of the year.

Let's get those coaches to earn those lovely salaries!

Get him going, guys! Try short west coast passing before taking shorts down the field on out and in routes. Bubble screens, slip screens, most any Div. I QB can make those throws!

He's an awful quarterback. When dropping back he reminds me of somebody who just stepped into a cow patty. Did he play out of the shotgun in high school?

I don’t know what is more pathetic, a rival fan thinking he/she knows more that our coaching staff or a supposed UT fan thinking rival fans know more than our coaching staff.

Wait, yes I do. You are far more pathetic.

I dont think it really matters at this point if you cheer or boo him in relation to his performance, he is what he is as a qb, hes going to play how hes going to play. the truth hurts sometimes

This is a prestigious division 1 school, we recruited him to win us football games. If he can't do what we recruited him to do then why should I support him? Yea he's got heart, but so do I. That doesn't mean I should be playing football at Tennessee.

I agree, since we know hes not going to be replaced stop booing, it does no good and it doesn't look good to the recruits that are at the game.

The boo birds will always be with us.
I remember sitting in the stands when Peyton Manning was a freshmen. These nut jobs even booed him.
Next year we'll probably be starting a freshman at QB. Rest assured they'll be booing him and asking for Stephens if he's still here.

No I don't. I do think that the fan of a rival team who signs up on our site pretending to be a VOL fan, then spends 2 years and 344 posts trashing everything about UT is a Troll. It is a shame that your intellect or immaturity prevents you from seeing the difference.

I hope he plays well, for the sake of the season. The OL and WR need to step it up. They can help him out, and so far have not.

Personally, I would like to see us apply the running game early, and often. We have proven we can run the ball against teams, that know it is coming.

Bust em in the mouth. Set that tone early.

Lol... That would make u feel better if I were a troll from a rival fan base. Because then my opinions would lose there validity. BUT thankfully I am a fan (UT's#1fan btw..) and my post history proves that. Go ahead, look at my posts over my membership.

I'm just one of MANY vol fans that believes JC is one of the most inept QB's to ever play football in the sec. And that someone else deserves a shot. Or we as fans deserve an explanation why no one else is being played.
