Butch may very well end up being Dooley 2.0. But putting a couch on hot seat notice in beginning of year 2 does nothing good for program. It only creates negative energy that will make its way from these boards to locker room, recruits, coaches etc. What if we lose to Florida but win out?? All I am saying is that it is fair to be critical, and play calling was suspect at times, but creating threads like these only make the all of this fan base seem delusional and irrational little kids screaming "i want it and I want it now". We are going through/out of the worst era arguably in UT history. The climb is not always as quick as we would like but I can certainly see the difference from Sal SunSwiss Cheese defense to this one and its only going to get better. In all let things play out before calling for a coaches head and try to enjoy the season.

I do not post much I just read and been a vol fan for life and all my family but myself went to UT ( I went to University of Colrado). I just want to say that whoever started this thread is a total idiot. It is going to all work out and we can every game left on the schedule even with Alabama will be rough but at home at least. I know everyone has a comment and a bunch of know it alls but it is plan and the plan is about to begin and be big.

This thread is so full of BS. These players need consistency in the assistant coaches that are willing and wanting to be here. We as Tennessee fans do not need to say someone is on the hot seat in year 2 of the new coaching staff. If anything, we need to worry about the coaching situation in Ann Arbor, Michigan, because if Brady Hoke continues the route he is going, he will be out of a job and lets not forget Kiffin. A coach who left Tennessee to go back home. Now I do not think Butch would leave, but i'm just saying it has happened before.

There were many times I wanted to change the channel yesterday but my wife wouldn't let me and I'm so glad she didn't. The culture is changing here in Knoxville. You could tell in the way we fought yesterday. Butch isn't going anywhere. The future is bright for the Orange and White. If you jump ship now you're forgetting the process.
