No doubt CLK and company can get kids fired up and "All Vol". Defense is in good hands for now. What about play calling and offensive production...X's and O's so to speak?

Offensively they're going to have to try real hard to be as bad as last year.

Yeah I dont think they can really be any less productive than they were last year without trying

I look for us to do a lot like alabama did last year. Run run run run pass. run run run run pass and so on. Dominate run game will be in play.

I imagine on the ground we'll see a lot of the new and improved Hardesty. As far as passing, lots of screens etc... try to get some of the new guys out in open space.

with crompton at QB, it's not impossible
If he's that bad... i have enough faith in this staff to make some sort of change. If he's the best we got and were still horrible. Then just stock up on your favorite whiskey and get ready for a very bumpy ride.

i think hardesty is the senior and has great potential, but i think by end of the year the stats will belong to one of the other three.by the way before the bashing i love hardestys had style of play

If he is still that bad after the system change then he needs to just stop playing ball and hand it over to Stevens.

Once again, outside of the Georgia game Stephens didn't look much better... and truth be told had much worse stats...

Remember, by the end of the season he'd lost the job too... although to be fair, by the end of the season most of us had pretty much checked out too.

Well, Coach Kiffin has said on numerous occasions that he is dedicated to the run as a big part of the offense. With the stable of backs we have, there is no reason not to run it to death. Coach Kiffin also mentioned the use of the fullbacks more(what an idea) to make plays. I believe we have some good receivers. At the end of the day, I believe that the coaches will find a way to win with what we have.

Clawson was trying to install a very "system oriented" offense. Alot of reads, automatics, sight adjustments, and audibles. It would have taken 2 or 3 years to even begin to know if it worked well.

With CLK... at the risk of being attacked... UT is returning to the multiple prostyle O that CPF and Cut ran.

I hope that we'll see an even better version of the disciplined execution that Cut brought when he came back... a MUCH better version of it in the run game.

From the sounds of the practice reports... they'll be throwing it to who ever can catch it and make plays whether it be a TB, FB, TE, or WR. I'll be just as excited to see A Johnson catch a 40 yard TD pass as Nuke or Warren.
