We have no chance against any good teams

Actually, there are four QB's who are producing at a higher rate than Worley right now.

5 have a higher completion percentage.

4 have more yardage.

4 have more TD passes.

4 have more passing yards.

Don't let facts get in the way of your hyperbole though.

2014 SEC College Football Individual Statistics Leaders for Passing - ESPN

You need to work on reading comprehension. I didn't say anything about stats. I said that no one is throwing it any better. The passes he made Saturday into very tight windows are direct evidence of that.

Although... those aren't bad stats for a guy that so many of you were SURE had no talent, arm strength, or accuracy. Not bad either when you think that just a few weeks ago pre-season rags were saying he was one of the worst QB's in the SEC... even behind guys who had not played.

Oh... and while we're not letting facts get in the way. UK's Towles is ahead of Worley in each of those categories if I am not mistaken.... completely due to his performance against an FCS team. He was very pedestrian against Ohio.

So the only measure of how well a QB is throwing is your opinion?

Gotcha.

Sorry to see you missed the second half of the game Saturday.

It is a game of four quarters. Worley looked fine the first half getting the ball to his playmakers. The second half is the kind of performance that will get them beat though.

I've never said Worley has NO arm strength, accuracy, or ability.

Two games into the season, I am not anointing him as one of the best in the league either.

I understand his limitations and it looks like has has played within himself the first couple of games.

Maybe you need to do the same with your posts.

It becomes a pretty good measure when most everyone shares the opinion. He's been about as good as anyone else so far.

Yeah... but since jongrudensagent doesn't share that opinion it must not be true... oh... wait....

SJT has never been a stats guy when it comes to Worley. He was very subjective with his evaluations of him before this season started. Otherwise he wouldn't have always been so high on him in the preseason. Worley had terrible stats last year.

Obviously that has all changed and he is playing well within this system and making the throws that are asked of him to make. He looks like a good system QB right now. Hopefully this system continues to work.

Worley had pretty average stats last year, not terrible. You anti-Worley guys are too much.

Yeah but he was SUPPOSED to lead the SEC in passing without receivers who know what routes to run or how to run them. Dang bo', ev'body 'no dat.

You know, you might not look like such an ass if you didn't seem so giddy at the prospect of Tennessee losing.
It seems like you would rather be right and taunt Vol fans, than have UT win.

No, I'm greatly disappointed. I would much rather be wrong, and come on here to eat crow about us upsetting Okie. I want to win more than I can even express. I just don't see it in this team yet, although Butch is recruiting very well. I'm just so disgusted with how bad our program has been, that I don't have the patience for incremental progress, and I really don't have patience for blindly optimistic idiot fans predicting a number of wins that has NO CHANCE of happening. With this program, I have come to expect the worst, while just hoping against hope for us to finally EXCEED expectations.

OK, UGA, AL, and Ole Miss will absolutely stomp a mud hole in us. FL, Mizzou, and USC will beat us solidly.

I think we only win 3 more games this year Chattanooga, Kentucky and Vandy. I'm really disappointed, because I hoped we'd be better this year.

Shew, to be tipsy at 3:30 in the afternoon must be nice:boobies:

Did you see the gamechickens and jawja games last year? We haven't played any "good" teams yet this year so I don't get why you're so disgusted.

Because I'm an educated lifelong football fan and former player, who can see with his own eyes how pathetic we are on both lines of scrimmage, but especially the OL. I also see how really good our competition is on the LOS so I can see the train wreck coming. It's not difficult. Anyone unwilling to acknowledge this is simply a stupid blind optimist or they are living in denial. As for last year, it means absolutely nothing. These are different teams.

As popular as you are...... I tend to agree. I don't see either line holding up against quality SEC competition.

Everybody that I have seen or heard talking about the Vols fronts on both sides of the ball has noted we don't have one starter from last year. This ain't an argument and has been widely discussed since the end of the season last year. I don't understand why you come in here at this late date and start talking about the line play like it's some epiphany that no one ever thought of before. Do you think it's possible young players could possibly improve as the year goes along or am I an idiot as well?

I don't think it's an epiphany at all. It's what everybody was expecting. I'm just very disappointed that we never seem to end up BETTER than what the expectations are. We never seem to overachieve. I had hoped that with the turn over on both the DL and the OL we might for once have an opportunity to be better than everyone expects, but it's obvious now after two games that is not the case. As a result we will suck once again, and that just takes all the fun out of football season.

I'm unpopular here for one simple reason. People don't like to hear the harsh unvarnished truth. The reality of our football program doesn't make them feel good, so they hold onto unrealistic dreams, and gravitate to any tidbit that seems to support their unrealistic viewpoint. Likewise, they attack any realism, with extreme vitriol.

Much better with a single word replaced.

I think it's because you always show up at the first sign of trouble, regardless of the sport, and act like you've got a perpetual case of hemhorroids.

You've actually got a slight point, but my God, relax.
