The real team #118 has a very inexperienced and thin offensive line, a very inexperienced and thin defensive line and a ton of freshmen in the two deep....6-6 is very reasonable and maybe a little if a stretch.....OP was just a downer though

Our lines have tripled their career starts in two games. Cut them slack, a lot of arm chair coaches who haven't a clue what they are talking about in a lot of cases.

I think the Vols played well considering: 1) Short week 2) Playing Arky State 3) Looking ahead to OU. ASU has a scrappy team and will do well in their conference.

you don't know that,there will be improvements all year long,the young players getting experience and learning there roles

the injuries need to stop,the Vols can't stand much of that

there is no reason to give up on them yet

19th ranked Nebraska scored a TD with 20 seconds in the 4Q to beat McNeese State by 7.

20th ranked KState came from behind with 1:30 left in the 4Q to win by 4 against Iowa State, who was beaten by 20 points last weekend by N. Dakota State.

Even decent teams struggle in some games.

I just went back and read all your post (well I could see 3 pages of them on my iPhone). You pretty much only post negative stuff, and you love the term 'sunshine pumper' so much I think you have it tattooed on the small of your back.

It is funny after a pretty solid performance last week you was nowhere to be seen. I take it that anytime you feel negative your only outlet is Vol Nation, and when you feel good about Tennessee you express it in other ways. You might need to see a professional about this honestly. You need to learn to express yourself in healthier ways.

That said any level head fan would have agreed over the summer that a bowl game would be tough.

When a win produces a meltdown it's time to get your head checked. There's being pessimistic by nature but then there's being defeatist and maudlin. You're defeatist and maudlin. Better get that checked out before you start writing overwrought, epically bad poetry about the girl who broke your heart or darkness in general.

Being a coach for twenty years today's performance was to be expected. When you sandwich a medium team in between a big season opener and a game like Oklahoma, a off game is to be expected. Don't give up on this team yet. this team will make a bowl game and beat some teams that they shouldn't.
