Memphis was bad but good grief this is a whole new level of suck, I never thought the Wyoming loss could get passed but they took care of that today, for me this is the worst because it shows where we truly are it wasn't a fluke loss we literally got manhandled

I agree this sucked, worst effort I have seen.

But technically that Memphis loss was much worse. Just that Tennessee team was actually good.......and we can see this one isn’t.

Pruitt doesn't even care. He doesn't respect UT...never did. He thinks he did us a favor by taking the job. Some bald jamoke from Bama isn't gonna get us winning. It will take someone from Tennessee that cares about the program to do it. That REALLY cares. You can tell by hearing his comments that Pruitt doesn't respect the program. He thinks we're a joke...and that this kind of loss is acceptable....for us. He doesn't have the passion for UT. And it sounds corny...but u need that. He's used to the legend of Bear Bryant....and Saban. He looks at the Mike Shula era as a blip in the greatness of Bama. He looks at UT as a lesser program that doesn't deserve big success. I really believe he has zero respect for UT. He's a Bama guy...and that'll never change.

This...... Is pretty dumb.

You can't really believe that do you? He may not be a good coach, but he's not oblivious to the history and legacy. He just isn't good. A Tennessee person that can coach is no better than any other states coach. That thinking is what gets programs in trouble. Tennessee needs a good coach, not a local one.

Actually, Tennessee is the cupcake, it appears.
I’ve noticed the talk around college football doesn’t even refer to Tennessee as a former high caliber team. It has seemed to register for all that Tennessee is a bottom-tier SEC team. A breather for the big boys playing big boy football. Pretty weird actually, considering the players that come here are supposed to be so much better the Vandy, Mizz or UK’s players...

For UT or Tennessee players period he doesn't think much of Tennessee football. Most of Tennessee history and UT greats have been from Tennessee they bleed Orange everything I see in hunt is for the State that just bet us. I wouldn't be surprised to see about 7-8 guys in the transfer portal Monday morning

Called my older brother in Florida after the loss yesterday (I'm 65), he has no cable or internet due to his wonderful service provider (largest in the nation). He's a Gator fan. I told him we lost - he said "I went to Georgia State for awhile, they didn't have a basketball team or a football team, it was a school where you went to college after work or when you could attend." Caught myself saying "they have good coaches, several good players" and then I said "actually, they ran all over us, all day long." I was looking forward to attending next week's game - it would have been my first since Jamal Lewis was a freshman - my 9 year old grandson, it was going to be his first game, now I don't think his parents, my son and daughter in law, will want to go, and I totally understand "why".

How does this loss compare to the LSU vs Troy game from 2017? LSU still finished 9-4. Or Michigan losing to App state in 07 but finishing with only a loss to Ohio State and beating Florida in a bowl game? All i'm saying is this does not mean the season is over and we go 0-12
