We have Lincoln...

I think with kickers (not so much punter's and kick-off guys) its a whole different story when you got nearly 100,000 looking at you hoping you make the kick that changes things... forever. Lincoln didnt do anything wrong really it was a long FG att. he had to keep it low + the bumb leg

As stated in previous threads, Palardy cannot get here fast enough. I hope Lincoln makes the best of his remaining games.

I just got in and I haven't checked the other threads, but the two blocked field goals were not Lincoln's fault. Those are the result of our offensive line and their defensive line. The miss was all his.

Well then sir, please kindly tell me what has been Mr. Lincoln's problem last year as well as this year.

Stupid post. To blame all of this on Lincoln is idiotic.
BS...he has missed normal range FG's all year, and everyone he made, I kept thinking, "Damn, he keeps kicking it low."

The first miss, he looked like a little girl trying to kick it. What's idiotic is saying that a kick that hit's Mt. Cody in the nuts NOT Lincoln's fault! Cody got a little push but has has no vertical, and it's not like he burst through the line and got in the trajectory of the kick....they were barely over his hands if he he just stood there.

Guarantee that the staff is not happy with his performance either. They may not publicly throw him under the bus...but they aren't know how much he has let this team down this season. He has missed very make-able FG's in our losses that would change the complexion of the game.

The exciting repercussion of Lincoln's failure: we'll be going for it on semi-manageable 4th downs on the opponents' side of the field a lot more often the rest of the year.

Just hope we don't go to overtime or "need" him again to win a game.

He's the first Vol player I can remember in a long time that has actually gotten noticeably worse every year he's been here.

The line did their job and let him get the kick off.... but when you hit a guy who is standing flat footed for all intents and purposes in the numbers (not trying to take anything away from Cody that guy is a beast, moobs and all) the kicker is the one with issues.

It's pretty sad, but true. Even Crompton is getting better, just a little too late. Can't wait until Palardy gets here,
