We have a good team.

Will Matthews be around? I'm sure he is letting his resume "marinate" out there somewhere.

Sorry. I just don't like the kid. I hope he catches a hundred TD passes, but I won't lose any sleep when he leaves in the spring.
If he has a big year he won’t leave.

If he does, we still have class of 2025 WRs that were thrown into the fire to go along with King, Bey, and Moa.

Aguilar has a very cool story.
And I think it’s awesome he’s getting 1 million this year in NIL. After all the hard work he’s put in.

Love the run game with Bishop, Lewis and Star Thomas.

Everyone is worried about Brazzell and I think Matthews is the guy about to break it wide open in college football this season.

Brazzell better come back from this injury 100% and quit dropping balls like he did so much last season...or Smith will take his starting job. Smith is 6ft4in and fast...he has also been very impressive in spring and fall camp from what I have heard. Brazzell disappoints like last year and he will see his snaps drop because Smith is a baller and is gonna make plays when he is on the field IMO.

Vols don't have proven playmakers on either side of the ball. There is no one that opposing teams have to scheme for nor are there any proven home run hitters who can make a big play and/or score from anywhere on the field. It's a solid team that could win as many as 9 games but most of the games will be close so getting there could be a struggle.

When he jumps in the boat I’ll include him too.
let’s say Matthews has a big year and stays at Tennessee.

Then you got Matthews playing like a 5 star plus RaRa and Travis coming on then you add Keys! And King! Moa is a boss at safety as well as WR. He may have to play defense

Specifically this crew was the one I’m referring too.

And yes, from purely an athletic standpoint they do seem similar. Yes.

That’s why it’s crazy that Nico’s dad was screaming for help with these WRs and Brame and Davis at TE.
I heard he was screaming for a big fat payday by way of Nico

Concerning your first comments, there's no way to know that until the season starts.

NO. We know for a fact there no proven playmakers on this team with the exception of a healthy McCoy. That doesn't mean some of these guys won't be playmakers but there is no one but McCoy who has proven themselves to be playmakers in the SEC.

I understand that last year Aguilar was running for his life behind a patched-up OL as they went 5-6. The year before, JA threw 33 TDs vs 10 ints. Last year Nussmeier threw 29TDs with 12 ints. I stand by my statement.

Meanwhile, Nussmeier has acknowledged his running is sub-par and that he must do better this year than his negative 38 yds last year.

Lastly, behind Nussmeier, at QB, who do they have? Nobody. There is no way I would trade JA, Merk, and GMac for LSU's thin corps. So, I stand by that statement also.

Nighthawk, I tend to agree with you almost 99% of the time. I guess I do have a bias in being too keen to refute folks talking up LSU; I live in Baton Rouge and get sick of hearing the local b.s. on that. 🤷
You coming to my graduation?

Right now yes, but we get to the SEC games, teams will absolutely be scheming against some individual players
