I have no issue with the Jews, respect them for the most part. I have had the pleasure of getting to know several, both US Jews and Israeli Jews from different levels of orthodoxy from Hassidic to reform. I've met some that are azzholes but the majority I've met are really nice.

As for the idea of them being God's chosen people, killing Jesus ext, I treat that with a grain of salt. They had to kill Jesus for the story to work.

No news in your first paragraph. Their are nice friendly people in all the religions and there are azzholes.

DSo you treat the Jews denying Jesus as the Son of God with a grain of salt. Do you think the Jews that do not reconize Jesus will see the pearly gates of heaven?

No I do not but I also know that God gave Abraham a promise that those who curse them will be curse and those that bless them he will bless.

Genesis 12:2-3 NASB

And I will make you a great nation, And I will bless you, And make your name great; And so you shall be a blessing; And I will bless those who bless you, And the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed."

And God did make them a great nation. By saying they turned their back on God is not cursing them.

When Jesus came and changed us from living under the law to the grace system , that change applied to the Jews and the Gentiles.

I think we're going to see Jews,Mormons,Muslims, Native Americans who worship the Great Spirit and some enlightened Hindus and Buddhists. :angel: No Seventh-Day-Adventists or Oldsmobile owners tho. :stop:

Ok, I'll further my explanation. From the Jews that I know well, I like their idea of community and closeness of family. Us Gentiles could use some of that.

As for them seeing the Pearly Gates? I haven't a clue, I hope the ones who have lived a good life, no rape, robbing, murdering ext do. Just as I would hope anyone of any faith or lack there of does.

They're coming to hell with me, according to the VN Biblical scholars. I love Jewish/Arabic food though, so it's all good. :)

I do not believe the literal word of the bible which was written by men. Plus it's not my job to decide who does/doesn't get into heaven.
