...by someone on "Around the Horn". And if you guessed Woody Paige, you'd be wrong. Bill Plaschke picked us to make the final 4 based on us beating Texas, Memphis, and almost beat Ohio State.

That would be nice, but I just don't see it happening unless Lofton shoots out of his mind the whole tournament.

Why? LBSU is no pushover but we should take them. I don't see a huge reason to be scared of Virginia. Singletary is good but they aren't that great. We came close to beating OSU AT OSU while having a horrible shooting day and we smacked Memphis once already. Texas AnM could be tough though.

We aren't a shoe-in, but noone is this time of year.

I've got Memphis losing to Nevada. People forget that Tiger High racked up that record by beating up on C-USA.

Although I don't see Tennessee making the Final Four.

As opposed to Nevada racking up wins against the WAC(?)?

I never cared much for Plashcke. He might be alright afterall. :)

In the South bracket, we can't "almost beat" Ohio state to get to the Final Four. Do you mean "almost beat" Texas? Then, what he's described would make sense.

Nevada is not a very good team. I have them losing in the first round. They haven't beaten anyone good this year.

I would be upset if we don't make the sweet 16. If we beat OSU I would throw a party. Of couse, no one in Columbus would come, but I would enjoy myself.

If we make the Final Four, I will get a shirt for it, and I don't get shirts often.

No, he meant that is the reason that he picks us to the Final 4, because in the regular season we beat those teams and almost OSU.

Not at all, expecially when you consider how poorly we shot the ball in the first matchup. OSU did as well, but, they had Oden to fall back on.

Someone has to do it. I'm just saying that we should at least make the Sweet 16 and anything can happen from then on.

Not too much. We just need to take care of business the first couple of games first of all.

Then we are just 2 good games away from the final four. It will take a good day to beat Ohio State, not a great day.

If OSU plays lights out, we would get hammered, but the chances are that they won't. They let just about everyone hang around with him. If we catch fire shooting like we have done at times, we win this one by 10+. Then we would be in the Elite 8 where it would be another tough game, but it's one game, and anything could happen in one game.

Most likely, we will make the Sweet 16, but I honestly think UT has an outside shot at the Final Four.

UT should make the Sweet 16, agreed?

And no one can tell me that UT doesn't have the ability to play great 2 straight games. Again that may not happen, but if it does, we have a shot.
