We got out coached today

Coach started the wrong QB.

He burned time outs that we needed at the end.

He called a horrible 4th and inches call that probably cost us atleast getting it tied and going to over time.

Just kinda feel like Dooley 2.0 and I hope I am wrong.

The timeouts and the terrible 4th and inches call tell me exactly how his time here is gonna go. Dooley 2.0 is spot on.

I am becaue the COACHES ARE THE ONES THAT STARTED MILTON AND LEFT 11 pt ON THE FIELD in the `1st quarter alone!!!
I see. Perhaps if you email coach with your suggestions he'll consider a different approach. Be sure to put it in all caps, bold print, and underline it for good measure. Really drives the point home.

Terrible? If the QB keeps it's a td. He just made the wrong read but it was there

I am not mad at the time outs. We executed well after both of them.
I actually found that refreshing today. I can’t even count how many times we’ve done that and given up a home run play coming out of the TO. Glad to see we actually make the proper adjustments (qb decision notwithstanding).

We didn't get outcoached, we cut our own throat. Penalties killed us. Milton bless his heart cant hit a barn

Here’s the game plan, we go out next week looking like Gods compared to Tenn tech or whatever, then after we beat up on them we will start talking about how we will beat Florida. Florida beats us, shuts up everyone. Repeat and rinse for almost what? 2 decades.

This was a game that Tennessee could have won. It would be a lie to suggest otherwise.

But, the predictions of 6-6 or making a bowl game being a legitimate achievement for this team were there for a reason.
I honestly don’t think Florida looks much better than us right now. Both look like 6 win teams to me.

With the disaster josh inherited from the worthless Pruitt he will be lucky to get 5 wins

Lmao we aren't getting 6 wins
we will beat Vandy, TTU, and South Alabama. South Carolina is probably the 5th win. I don’t see any other wins on the schedule, but I won’t be surprised if we beat a team we have no business beating.

We also got hosed by the refs too

I disagree. I thought that spot was fair when we were six inches shy, and so was the end zone call. I also thought they called a lot of PI on Pitt's defensive backs covering our receivers. They also rolled back the second "pile driver" call on Jackson. Well called game by the refs, I thought. What was the "hosing" that you disagreed with?

This team is way better than last years team, Hell we couldn't score at all last year, At least we are in the games this time around and I saw no quit in our guys...They played thier butts off, Came up short on the scoreboard but I'm proud of them regardless.
I feel better about this team right now for the rest of this season than I did the 2019 squad at this point. This team is trying to gel on the fly and build their identity.

We had opportunities to win today, but i see significant improvement this year compared to last two years with less overall talent and depth. Considering several key players were either out or went out and to be driving at the end to possibly tie and go to overtime is promising.

Picked the wrong QB but otherwise, I see a lot of good in the coaching. And I give Milton his due - he isnt accurate for piss but he did a good job of getting them lined up and mostly mistake free when he was out there. That I give the coaches credit for as well. It was only when we had second string in that the errors really started to pile up.

Would’ve been a great 4th and inches call if the QB you wanted to start had just pulled the ball

Agree. The official was totally out of position. He was around the 8 yard line and just guessed where the runner got to. My wife and I both agreed it was a first down. Can’t believe it was not reviewed on such a critical play.
Also, ESPN who provides the camera footage for the replay officials were chronically out of position. On the goal lines plays, they didn’t have a single camera aiming right down the goal line, impacting the replay reviews. How can ESPN be that inept? The SEC should stipulate that camera coverage be Maintained for any network that broadcasts games.

Pitt will not have a winning record this year is my observation. A team can have 2-3 starters on each side of the ball that get it done with athleticism alone. The other 8-9 have to have an IQ to go along with that. That is where we have been handicapped for the past 10 years.
