Yep, that's the reason for sure. He was never offered. It was a reporter concoction just like the NCAA deal going on now. Nothing to either story. Common sense exposes one, a crooked NCAA investigator the other.

You don't really understand what reporters will do to break a big story, do you? Being three times your senior, I know exactly what they will do? If Donnie Tyndall and Tennessee get a slap on the wrist, I will be shocked? I think the NCAA is scared ****less of Coach T's big name law firm and their threat to go after the source - NCAA investigator connection. That's all I need to say. You might go back to my original post on this issue, "Recruiting Attack!", to refresh your memory. :loco:
