We got a shot at ‘em

Sure we do, Vandy has a chance to beat us too. I just don't see it. I hope you're right.
That’s not how it works 🤣😂🤣🤣🤣🤣!
It’s ok to be ridiculous crazy as long as you’re positive, and believe we are going to beat a 30 point favorite,
But he$$ no Vandy has less than a zero % chance to beat us. It’s impossible

We need to take Nakobe Dean (#17) out early, he calls their formations on defense and is like a 3.5-4.0 student. If we can take him out early they'll be discombobulated on defense and we can take advantage. I don't wish the kid any permanent harm but if we could just get him out for our game that'd be sufficient. A targeting ejection would also work oh ye football gods.

We gave up 5 sacks against UK. UGA D-Line is waaaayyy better. Don't have a good feeling about this one but I'll hope.

Georgia offense isn’t scary, ours is.

According to this 247 stat post we're the same, expect we have 4 losses and UGA has a historical defense.

Feels like an appropriate time to point out a few UT offensive stats:

  • 3rd in SEC in pts/gm at 38.2 (Dawgs 2nd at 38.6)
  • 8th in SEC in pass yds/gm at 240.0 (Dawgs 9th at 240.0)
  • 3rd in SEC in yds/att at 9.1 (Dawgs 1st at 10.0)
  • 3rd in SEC in Passer Rtg at 168.83 (Dawgs 1st at 176.26)
  • 4th in SEC in rush yds/game at 217.11 (Dawgs 6th at 190.22)
  • 7th in SEC in rush yds/att at 4.97 (Dawgs 9th at 4.95)
  • 5th in SEC in total yds/play at 6.52 (Dawgs 1st at 6.89)
  • 6th in SEC in 3rd down conversion at 45.38% (Dawgs 5th at 46.53%)
  • 5th in SEC in RZ conversions at 88.89% (Dawgs 7th at 88.10%)
  • 14th in SEC in sacks allowed at 33.0 (Dawgs are 1st at 5.0)
So the question that comes to mind is this.....do you consider Georgia's offense ELITE? If so, then so is tennessee. If not, then neither is tennessee. Because the two are almost identical to one another, even down to their mix of run/pass with both being about 62% run / 38% pass.

But now consider the defensive side of the ball. UT defensive stats:

  • 12th in the SEC in pts/game at 28.2 (Dawgs are 1st at 6.6)
  • 13th in the SEC in pass yds/gm at 264.7 (Dawgs are 1st at 149.6)
  • 4th in SEC in pass yds/att at 6.8 (Dawgs are 1st at 5.0)
  • 6th in SEC in Passer Rtg at 128.73 (Dawgs are 1st at 95.53)
  • 8th in SEC in rush yds/gm at 153.33 (Dawgs are 1st at 80.67)
  • 6th in SEC in rush yds/att at 3.76 (Dawgs are 1st at 2.60)
  • 5th in SEC in total yds/play at 5.25 (Dawgs are 1st at 3.78)
  • 14th in SEC in 3rd down conv allowed at 48.39% (Dawgs 2nd at 31.62%)
  • 14th in SEC in RZ conv allowance at 94.29% (Dawgs are 1st at 54.25%)
  • 6th in SEC in sacks at 24.0 (Dawgs are 2nd at 28.0)

So is this the best offense they have faced all year? Sure. But is it also the worst or one of the worst defenses? Also yes.

He's a stud. I just hope the refs call a straight up game. WE are gonna need a few lucky breaks and definately some PI calls on those ugly dawgs.

Maybe crazy, mostly am, but I got a feeling we’re into the minds of those Dawgs

could be a fun Saturday night in Knoxville…

just saying
Any true fans owes it to himself and his team to have this mindset. No sense going in already whipped, let’s raise some hell and help our team rise up. This is what separates us from fickle Georgia fans, they don’t have the stomach or loyalty to stand behind their team when times are tough.

Bringing a whole crew of first timers to Neyland to cheer on the Vols, I sense a disturbance in the force.....remember Average Joes Gym was a huge Underdog to Globo Gym in the 2004 Dodge Ball Championship, we all know how that one ended.

Saturday could be a story about persistence, pride, glory, overcoming self-doubt and doing something eternally memorable to knock off a number one hated rival in Neyland...if UT beats the Dawgs.....grown men will cry real tears of joy......

We might not win but that's an idiotic point you're trying to make - who they've played vs who we've played

Yeah, there strength of schedule is higher than ours. They've played 6 teams with a winning record and beaten them all, 207-47. We've played 5 teams with a winning records and are 2-3 against them. So back to the drawing board with you, and your calling people idiots.

I think first half will be interesting. But I think the second half we’ll see the difference in depth and the score will show that.
Although, CJP might, just might have some chit stored away he’s been saving for a special occasion

I'm crazy too.

The one thing that will be the difference is towards the end of the game, assuming its still close, will UGA's defense be able to sack HH when it matters most.

UT has a healthy O line, so the Vols have a chance. But, UGA's D line is the best in the country. It will be a test for both sides but UGA obviously has the advantage.

I'll be there. Play the way you've played all year. Give your all!!!

🎵 I said it's great - to be - a Tennessee Vol...

I could be wrong……..as I often am; however if Georgia is going to be beaten (by anyone)………I think it’s going to come from defense and then maybe a little luck.

Someone is going to have to make it a game like the Clemson game and then have a bit of luck and try to squeak one out.

Georgia has an O that can score some points……..I just don’t see anyone being able to simply go out and try to score like 50 on them……….thus simply out scoring them.

Someone will have to “out score” them by keeping the score really low.

Long way around to say…….Tennessee can’t do that………..

On a more positive note there’s always a good chance I’m wrong……especially when simply giving my opinion.

I respect ur opinion but i disagree. Clemson still has a great defense and they got beat. I say blitz ga and score as much and fast as u can.

well I certainly agreee…..score as much and as fast as you can……..the problem becomes “how much you can”

The reason I say that is because teams can’t score on Georgia.

No team has scored more than 13, and they average giving up less than 7 per game……..I don’t see anyone scoring like 48 or 50.

The only close game they’ve had was the 10-3 Clemson game.

If you “can’t” score on them……..”possibly” a team with a good D could just try and make it very low scoring and a very slow game…….and maybe with some luck…..get the win.
