We'll win just because it's a very Tennessee thing to do. We're out of the east, so of course now the team will play up to potential.

I'm still trying to find a thread-worthy distinction between "We're going to smoke Georgia" and "We Stomp Georgia - Book It."

But I'm sure it will all resolve itself by the 4th quarter.

You know what kills me is why you and Lawgator prefer to spend so much time on a Vol board with the season ur team is having?
It wouldn't have anything to do with enjoying someone else's misery would it?
Believe it or not, I really am not trying to be a smart azz here, I have always wondered this. I have been reading this board for many, many years but have never been tempted to go to a competitor's board and serve up my opinions about their team.

99 and LG are good posters, but no doubt they're enjoying another letdown season for us.

99 and Lawgator have been posting here for a long tme, barry, with very insightful, informed, well thought-out posts, IMHO. You say you've been "...reading this board for many, many years." Why did you just join a month ago, may I ask? Could it possibly be to add some fake credibility to your newbie status, pray tell??? Didn't work.....

I don't think so, checkerboards. They both want the Gators to beat us every year, but, after that, I think they pull for the Vols to win whenever it helps their team, as in this Saturday; and other times, as well. I, for one, enjoy having them on board.

here we go with the "off the ship" crowd, please we pay for tickets, buy our gear just like the rest of you, please stop with the get off the ship BS......so over used and over bearing.....EVERYONE on HERE want US to WIN, please get over yourself, acting like you get special front row seats or Peyton's autographs for staying ultra positive through tough/unacceptable loses......

Actually, I changed e-mail accounts. I use to use my work email account but changed jobs and with my limited computer skills when I tried to pull up old user name it was not recognized. It was BG1968 not sure if you have ever seen that name or not because I do not post much. I had, I believe, around 140 posts and joined back in the Gruden is coming days.
I can assure you it has nothing to do with wishing to add fake credibility to newbie status. However one does that, I'm not sure.

But I can assure I am a long time as in 45 years Vol fan, and care what you think about as much as I care about the Gator posters.

Damn, wesley. Great post X 10, my friend. These people that think they can get up on their hind legs and command ANY of us to do ANYTHING, I find annoying as hell. Oooops, I forgot... They think their whoo whoo is vanilla ice cream. My bad. Again, thanks for saying what a lot of us feel.

Thank you, barry. I stand corrected. It appeared as though you were a newbie from your "Join Date". As for the rest of your post, hopefully, you'll come to appreciate these two Gator posters as have a lot of us through the years. The respect for them has been long since earned.

Thanks for the response. You are right they have been on here a long time. I've never said anything before, I think it is because of all the bickering back and forth. Myself included. It really boils down to that I am hurting so bad over the season so far, I just don't know how to act!

My apologies to 99 and Law! A win over the Bulldogs would go a long way towards healing this board.

Amen, my friend. This has been one of the most painful, so far, that I can remember. If our beloved Vols can find a way to hang one on the silver britches, it would be a great start in turning this cluster f--- around. Hope springs eternal and thanks for your response. GBO!!!
