This game will not say whether they are or not. This game is against a rather weak team and won't really say anything going forward. The Florida game will tell exponentially more than this game will.
Today, we are not a championship caliber team.
The good news is, we improved significantly from game 1 to game 2 (esp. when the OL was shuffled), and there are clear signs we could continue to improve more than average as the season plays out.
In short, we MIGHT be a championship team by the time we really need to be. Talking of course about the Gauntlet.
One more lead-in game before it hits. Here's hoping we continue to grow. We just might get to championship caliber in time to make something of it.
Go Vols!
Agreed. Very dissapointed in the offensive line.
We need Chance to get healthy. Richmond should be relegated to the bench. Same with Coleman Thomas. Jack Jones should start.
Hopefully this is the o-line when we play Florida:
LT - Hall
LG - Robertson
C - Weisman
RG - Jones
RT - Kendrick
We might need to get Boulware and Tatum up to speed as well.
