I hardly ever correct anyone's grammar mistakes, unless it's just to harass them, but that one, for some reason just drives me nuts. Lol

Does it bother you more "then" the others?

It's a keystroke thing. If you are a three-finger irregular, the finger next to the left pinkie usually strikes the 'A' key and the middle (bird) finger usually strikes the 'E' key. Banging away at the keyboard, it is forgivable not to notice the occasional transposition. After all, spellcheck isn't going to discern "then" from "than" - They're both spelled correctly.

For those of you who practice proper keyboard discipline, nanner nanner boo boo.

I thought hubby might be a bad guy when we first started "talking" online. He took so long to reply I thought he was "formulating" answers. Then we met in person, and the first time I saw him sit at a computer to answer an email, I realized why it took him so long to answer me. He ain't a fast typer.

That even if there was no love for Butch, his "I love me some me" attitude would never let him see it.

Interesting, I don't see the "I love me some me" from him. Even so, I don't know why that's an issue. I'm not his biggest fan, to put it mildly, but I don't hate him either.

From where we were, as a program, not just our win loss record, to where we are now is pretty awesome. That and where our administration has been and is right now, is why I thought he deserved another year after the major disappointments we suffered in 2016, I know I don't have to list them.

I'm gonna be ready for a replacement if he doesn't get to Atlanta this season, but I'm grateful for his commitment and all the good he has done for our program.

I get you and others want him gone sooner than later, but I'm still mystified and will never understand the constant display of vitriol towards him.

Anyway, I'm not trying to give yo crap or change your mind, just speaking mine.:good!:

Did they start calling him Butch due to the haircut, or does he keep the haircut because they call him Butch?

Actually didn't mean it horrible. Just that I feel like he does have the "I love me some me" attitude. Hell, that's not even a problem. Just an observation.

Oh I didn't take that as horrible lol, I was talking about all the other stuff, you know wtf I'm talking about. Don't turn into one of those jacklegs that twist words or just wants to cause crap.:)

It's really interesting what may be taking place with this new AD hire. Already have noticed two "hard core" Butch Negas posting how they agree that it's better to support Butch success, than to have him fired and let Currie be responsible for hiring a new HC.

Haha, Wylo.....What are your thoughts on this?

I don't really even have an idea about this dude. I know very little about him. I see a lot of people ripping the hire and want to lean that way, but it's strictly my lack of faith I the administration that makes me feel that way.

I want Butch to succeed because he is the coach. He wins, we win. My dislike of him is because I believe he won't be the guy. I don't hop on the Butch love fest just because like so many.

Your approach is probably the best one. You want him to win and will calmly ride it out to see if he's gonna pull ahead or sink. That just isn't me. I feel that it has a chance to be better with a change. I think Butch will do Butch things like losing vs. bad teams and saying ridiculous things to make everyone laugh at Tennessee.

Just my opinion.

But isn't this common --maybe a requirement --for P5 coaches? And corporate bigwigs? And elected officials?

Not saying that I like it, mind you, but I don't think that modest self-effacement is either normal or useful in those levels.

(I'm pretty happy in my tiny urban oasis, where self-deprecating humor works.)

It's required for my job and I just work in IT. That attitude and the ability to manage relationships with your coaches isn't a direct correlation. You can have the attitude and still successfully manage relationships.

I assume we're talking about Currie anyway.
