And that's exactly what happened. Seriously I don't think we win without Pig. He was huge for us! These players had to overcome a bunch of obstacles last night. Not the least of which was all the bone headed decisions by this staff. But I'm proud of Pig. Not to long ago people speculated he'd not be back with the team. Big props to the flying pig

He really gets north and south quickly when he catches the ball. On reverses not so much. I'm just proud he was like twice as fast as the defenders on that play!:good!:

Just couldn't resist the chance to throw in a shot at the coaching staff, could you?

No he can't...but he's not the only one. We'd be NC with a coaching staff made up of VN armchair coaches. That is, if they'd agree to leave their mom's basement.

Excellent example of using compliments as a means to post your displeasure with the coaching staff. Kudos to you sir.

600 yards and 35 first downs . . . They did a helluva job overcoming the coaching staff.

Oh no you di dent! Lol. The reality is we were very lucky to win last night. I hope this staff continues to learn but it's worrisome. The fg attempts were terrible last night. Some of the personell decisions were terrible also. Mainly a very limited db (Coleman) covering their most dynamic player all night. And then of course there's the fact that we run a read option spread offense and left Dobbs sitting on the bench most of the season. We've lost almost every close winable game Butch has coached. Like it or not that's the reality. I have always given credit where it's due regarding Butch. His work ethic and recruiting has been incredible. But It just seems like game day management and personell decisions leaves a lot to be desired

I respect your opinion. But, why bring it up in every single thread and post you make? Are you just trying to stir the pot to get a reaction? Give credit where credit is due -- what happened at the end of the game last night could not have happened without proper coaching. Come on. It made up for some of the blunders that may have occurred earlier in the game. This game would have been over in the 3rd quarter if Dooley was still our coach. And regarding Dobbs...if you were the coach would you start a player that was under-performing in practice and thought may need another year to mature? We have NO idea what's happening in practice and behind closed doors. The injury to Worley gave Dobbs a chance to shine in a game and he took advantage of it.

What exactly are the bonehead decisions the staff made last night in your opinion? Honestly asking.

Ok dammit! Maybe you're right. I've been pissed and nega posting ever since the Florida game. It just somehow makes you feel better to vent on Volnation. You make a few valid points. We should probably enjoy the win (and the emergence of Dobbs). I'll try to refrain for the next few games and see what happens
