It's true. Even during the Dooley era the average game was still 95,000+. That's not filling the stadium but it still beats most SEC stadiums who were fielding great teams.

If he would've just taken the attitude that one first down wins the game in our second to last possession, we win it. But I knew he wouldn't. I told my friends we'll go run,run, run, punt. If we throw 6 yard pass in third down we win.

This game was as much bad defensive calls. Most college teams don't do zone well. That is why Oklahoma almost never ran it against us nor Florida tonight. All those 4th and whatever's we should have been in man and blitzing that freshman QB. Don't know if it was Janzcek or Jones but whomever.

My wife and I have donated a lot of money the last few years. And I am not going to lie, games like this year in and year out make it hard to keep doing so. We cut back at the end of the Dooley era and are getting close to doing so again. Please butch just win.

I have not posted in a long time, but tonight has burned me more than any loss in the last 10 years.

A. Game management is pathetic (coaching)

B. Play calling down the stretch below Pee Wee level (coaching)

C. Not learning how to win down the stretch and learn from the Oklahoma debacle. (coaching)

D. Refusing to throw down field to our star receivers and play makers is mystifying. (coaching)

E. Offensive system will not work well against top quality opponents like we face week in and week out. (coaching)

F. Finally, I am tired of hearing the last time Tennessee won here or there was back last decade under our national championship coach Phillip Fulmer. It was time for Fulmer to go, but should have been treated with more respect by Hamilton and I think we are paying a tough price for that disrespect. Something must be done quickly or the season is heading for disaster. We have got to win games period!
