We can sign more than 30 according to Hyams

On his radio show Hyams said that he couldn't quite explain why just yet but he was told we are going to be able to legally sign more than 30 this year. He didn't know the exact number just yet and couldn't explain what loophole it is that UT found that will enable them to do so but he said we will for sure be allowed to sign more than 30 and that he'd update with more information when he gets it. When it's released I'm sure someone will be quick to post why and how many. Just thought I'd pass the info along. Please direct all smart*s comments to this guy---> :finger3:

I am not sure if that is good reporting or not. I don't who, why, how, or anything else. I just know that we can.

wow thats such a credible statement to make...

everyones been talking about it. hyams is just poking in the dark, grasping for straws, etc. he has a 50/50 chance of being right. if i were a terrible reporter who everyone constantly made fun of and didnt know what to say but wanted to say something on the matter, yea id probably say something along those lines as well.

He just read VN with all the posts about back counting (maybe 33) and is waiting for VN to confirm.

Did y'all notice hyams was on book of manning? And did you notice when he was talking about manning choosing UT, he was speaking in future tense?

He is sometimes also on the Finebaum productions of the "SEC Lists." They are a complete joke, so par for the course.

I don't ever listen to Jimmy Hyams, but does he have an actual track record of reporting false information?

Seems like almost every breaking story he's had is ridiculed at first and then ends up being true.

It seems pretty obvious that the coaches have a plan….can't wait to February to see what it is.

Seriously OP, thank you for bringing this info to the board. I live out of state and can't listen to UT Sport Talk that often. We shall see if he is right or wrong. Butch must know something if we are still after so many targets. More importantly, it appears that many targets still have us high on their list; even if we are "full".

Jimmy and I talked. It is pretty technical, but the actual number is (958/16)*SQRT44 all divided by 12.41.
