Tennessee football: Depth chart shows Vols can play with anyone on paper

Now, I’ve been researching Georgia a lot this pass spring, and up till now this very day. I’ll just say it...their defense isn’t what everyone thinks. I’ve been saying it. They just lost thei 5 star running back as a freshman for the year. I think the defensive talent that we have can beat their offensive line in areas. I think our offense can beat their defense, especially in the passing game. If our offensive blocks down, we can move the ball rushing as well. I think we can go 5-0, to start out folks.👍

Georgia loses some key players....but I just dont see us going to Athens and keeping this game very close. I can buy a competitive game vs Florida, and in my mind the season will hinge on that game. Pruitt needs to take advantage of this golden opportunity to catch a rebuilding Florida team at home and set the tone for not only the series going forward but for the Pruitt era in general. As for WVU, just too many unknowns to say, but the state of our D-line and baby secondary scare me. I will say we start 3-2 with a very close win vs Florida, and I'd happily take that start. GBO!

If we were recruiting like UGA the last few years we’d expect a NC. OP is in fantasy land.

Not just some players, but a lot of players they lost. Do some research, and you’ll see what Georgia has. Match it up like I have, and you’ll see that we can beat them.

Totally off topic, but u guys think Kesling is lame as an announcer? I just watched Ohio St. v Michigan replay on Big 10 network and they played clips of the OSU radio calls. This guy is the ABSOLUTE WORST radio play by play guy in sports history. His TD calls sound like he's asking his wife to pass the potatoes. His timing...sense of the dramatic...inflection...energy etc etc etc is absolutely pathetic. I question whether he even likes football. Sorry. I just had to share this. Carry on.

Lol. Its not that simple. Just really take a look at the rosters. Do we have any RBs that are on Swifts level? No we dont. Any WRs on Ridley, Goodwin or Hardman level? No. TEs? Not even close. While UGA has lost quite a bit, they are likely going to be like Alabama, lose players and replace with better ones.

Give me one player besides Trey Smith that would crack UGAs starting lineup. Just time to face facts, UGA is on another level than we are. And that likely wont change for awhile.

Running backs? Yes...Madre London, Tim Jordan, Jeremy Banks, Ty Chandler is just as good as Swift. Swift is a sophomore, if my research is correct. London is a senior. Our receivers are just as good as those guys. Chryst is just as good as the quarterback. Our offensive line will be as good, their offensive line has some freshman on it. Our defense has more experience than their offense this year. Research it. Even though their offensive line may be good, Pruitt can exploit that from his defense, and take advantage of their youthfulness. Their cornerbacks, safeties is where they are really worried about. Their young, and they haven’t gelled together this fall practice. We can pass on them this year, and I believe we can move the chains on them as well.

I didn’t realize you were trolling until you said Chryst is as good as Fromm.

Guys, I've not posted a whole lot lately, and not that it matters, but we've got a bunch of studs on our hands . . .as players. We're about to find out what kind of coaches we've got and if they're ballers too.
If it comes together, we could see something No one expects.

It all lies on the players and coaches as a team.

I hope we beat the piss out of wvu this weekend.

Where are you guys watching it at?

Jesus man, are you being serious? People are already saying Swift is better than Chubb or Michel was. We havent had a RB as good as either one of those guys in a long time. Madre London? Jordan? Banks? Chandler? If Swift was to come to UT right now, he would easily be the starter from day 1 and become our best player on offense immediately. Our OL is not as good. UGA has one of, if not the best OL coach in the country. Defense? Our defense was one of the worst in CF. Its not going to go from one of the worst to one of the best.

I dont think they beat us 41-0 again. But they will beat us handidly again.

Even though I haven’t been in the quarterback spat, of who is going to start, I think Chryst is just as experienced as Fromm. The only difference is that Fromm has been in the playoffs now, and that might be a slight advantage. I don’t think Fromm would’ve had the type of season he had, if it wasn’t for the experienced running backs they had. Now, don’t get me involved in who is going to start that game, because I’m not getting involved in it. If he does play, his experience will pay off I believe. Jarrett will have some good play, if he starts against them. I believe we can stand toe to toe with them, and beat them. For I have believed that Smart can’t beat Pruitt, all spring, summer, and even getting closer to the game.👍💥👍💥

I just don’t see it. Sorry, but Will Friend is one of the best in the country. I believe we have the best running back group in the country, and that my friend will be shown. I also believe that Madre London is one of the best power runners in the country. We are going to show the world why we got him here. With Banks right behind him with that other power, we are going to be very strong. When you add in Tim Jordan and Ty mixing it up behind this offensive line, we are going to give Georgia fits.

Look guys, I’m sorry if I’ve been like this, my confidence level with Pruitt and this staff has been so high from day one. When I heard that he was being hired, I told a bunch of people that we can go 10 and 2, because he knows how to win. I also told a lot of people that he would get a great coaching staff around him. Man I was right, and no one believed me from day one. Now, they are in awe, about this coaching staff, and they couldn’t believe that I said that from day one. Now, I’ve said 10 and 2 here as well, all spring, summer, and up till now. I’m not trying to be difficult at anything, but I believe guys. I really do believe 10 and 2.
