Before this game UT's run D had held every opponent to less than their season average. I didn't expect them to play this well. But you and others VASTLY overstated how bad UT was vs the run.... obviously.

OK guy did we hold Ga State under what the mighty western Michigan d can do? How many games did we win doing so? What Is our third down rate on 3rd and less than five? Because you can pass all over us how does this effect those stats. But hey, you do you and gloat and get your internet high. I didn’t vastly overstate anything. I stated our run def wasn’t great and they have the top stat RB in the league. Facts

What defines bad?

We were middle of the country. Thus, average. You were not stating a fact...you only thought you were.

I didn’t predict anything in that post. I thought something different to the person I was replying to and what the other guy thought happened, mine didn’t.

But it wasn’t “wrong” because I DID think that way. It just didn’t happen, which I’m totally glad it didn’t.

Post back and say like: “ hey you were dumb to think that way” “what you thought didn’t happen.....huh”

But I regress.......I could have posted: “some people thought Tennessee was going to spank Florida’s azz” and that didn’t happen.........wrong.

But I didn’t.

You simply posted: “wrong”

My comment certainly wasn’t “wrong”. I DID think that way......I wasn’t saying “that’s what is going to happen”.......that would now be wrong. My thinking is always going to be....”what I actually thought.”

Just read the post and immediately read your reply......surely you will get it.

Think whatever you want....that’s fine. MSU lost, and Tennessee ran it down their throat......which was a good thing.

Not what I said, is it? UT held GSU under their season average. That was a fact going into the game. I'm not claiming they played as well as they did vs MSU or that it was good enough. But it is an objective FACT that they ran for about 40 yards less vs UT than their season average and averaged a yard less per carry.

How many games did we win doing so?

With a QB that couldn't sustain drives and keep the D off the field... none. UT had 7 second half drives vs GSU counting the last one that was meaningless. On 5 of those drives UT had less than 20 yards. Their pass D is bad... really bad. Furman in the following week put up better numbers than UT even including that last drive.... they're an FCS school. JG has been replaced because he continually misses plays downfield and even underneath. Those are plays the O needs to sustain drives.

UT's pass D isn't good. They found a way to generate a pass rush vs MSU. That was as big of a surprise as it was a factor in the win. I don't expect a repeat vs Bama. Their ability tor repeat it against the other 5 opponents will have a lot to do with the eventual win total.

No. You overstated it. Don't want to be called out... then maybe use a little more prudence in how you make declarations about what "will" happen. I wasn't "right". I simply didn't "know". I wasn't expecting the result you predicted... nor the one we saw.

Maybe just use a little more restraint when making grand definitive statements. It wasn't that you just believed it... you declared it to be a foregone fact and acted like people who disagreed with you were stupid. You rubbed people wrong with the way you argued that belief. That's why they're coming back at you and a few others.

You overstated. It happens to most of us. Live and learn.

I didn’t predict **** big boy. Just had a different opinion. Go back and read it. I said the vols could win, but at That point we weren’t equals. By he way holding teams under their average didn’t mean you have a good run def. holding them under 100 does
