I feel every bit as confident thatUt will win as I did in 2012 and 2012.. Logically I see no way we lose but I have no doubt we will.

Our defensive line is a huge concern here. 90+ temps with 90+ humidity doesn't bode well for Tuttle and McKenzie. Thank you Danny O'brien. I hope if/when you come back you sit on the far end of the bench.

Well they'll get cooled off with the rain. :)

Our OL is better than it was last year. Hurd is better. Kamara is better than Lane. I see no reason why Dobbs should be worse than he was in late '14; don't think we've seen his best yet, this season, and same for our WRs.

Our DBs should be improved, even without Gaulden. We'll miss Maggitt, but I think our DL is no worse than last year and potentially better. This time last year had AJ, so that's a drop-off for us. Our return units are better than they were.

F's D might be better than our's, but our O is better than their's.

What was the score last year?

Who's favored by Vegas this year?

If the coaches have our guys ready, we'll put a whoopin on em.

The only current line I've seen has Florida as a 3 point favorite which spot on to what a predicted yesterday.

I don't think so. There isn't any reason to think so. They just went to Ky and yielded only 9 points to an improved Ky offense.

It's the OLine, still and seemingly forever with us. Against a weak defensive line like WCU or BGU, most of our running success comes off individual effort on the outside by Hurd and Kamara. There was no room between the tackles. No holes to run through and often stuffed. Then, there is the perennial problem of overloading the box and living in our backfield that the better defenses exploit. Fla will squeeze the field from the outside in and shut down any success we have enjoyed outside. It will be another offensive disaster allowing the Fla defense to win on turnovers and repeatedly awarding their anemic offense with great field position. They will win by 10 at the least.

It's funny. We keep repeating how young a team we are and how weak our OLine still remains, yet we then expect to beat OK or FLA in Gainesville. It's not realistic and then everyone gets down after we fail to accomplish something that we are still a year or two away from doing.

Then accentuate all that with the fact that we haven't beaten them in 10 years and that's where I have to draw my reluctant conclusion.

Heard it before OU this year. Heard it before UF last year and the years before that. Until this team beats a big boy, I won't buy it until i see it. Will they make big plays? Will Butch tighten up or let it all hang out? Guess we find out this weekend.

I got a strange feeling Florida curb stomps us..I think they will be looking forward to whipping us, and I still think there lingering effects of the Oklahoma loss.

Got a link for those pants? Sounds like something I'd like to have. Speaking of golf, I decided I didn't have faith in UT so I'm going to the PGA at East Lake instead of the game this weekend. Hope I regret that decision.

You have valid points! And that is why I think the game will be close instead of a blowout. But we are a better overall team. And a better than average d with an ok offense cannot beat us this year. Our defense is wayyyyyy better than UK's. Look at the totality of both sides of the ball. Will we be able to pound uf constantly? No. But we will have opportunities fore some big plays up the middle and some play a ction off it.

Florida's elite defense buoyed by their Swamp crowd keeps UT's offense in the 10-17 point range. Question is, will UT hold UF to less than that?

No. Florida will get its chances and points. I hate to be a negavol but I just can't see this game as a favorable matchup for our offense.

How delusional is this fanbase? We were "definitely gonna win" the past 3 years.

We lost to a HORRIBLE Muschamp team last year AT HOME with full checkerboard. How bad were they? They got the coach fired.

Our coaches gave that one away with conservative playcalling...just like the Oklahoma game

And this game is in the Swamp...

I'll believe it when I see it

Not a NegaVol - just a loyal fan who has been burned one too many times.

My brain tells me UF wins 13-0 because I've seen nothing to convince me we can score on them

Ok this is ridiculous.

-we haven't been shut out in 20 YEARS
-we've scored 55+ in 2/3 games this year
-UF's offense is turnover prone, which can set us up to score
-Hurd, AK, and Dobbs will get us something.
-UF has elite DB's, but not an elite front 7

Even in the worst of scenarios, I expect that we'll at least put 3 up on the board.
