Still hasn't sunk in with me how things turned out for Pat. Goes without saying, but I still get emotional thinking about it. Pat Summit is the greatest coach in history as far as I am concerned, and that goes for any sport.

Pat is what drew me into the women's game. My wife and I cried when we heard that she would no longer coach the game. Coach Pat has done so much for the game. It is a shame that the only thing that could put her on the sideline was dementia. She is a great person who let the game way too soon.

LSU staff all wore "We Back Pat" t shirts throughout the game. Mitchell and staff did not.

That's just weak. He's mad because Kyra left; IMO that's why he fired Shannon.
Pat helped him so much; you would think he would wear the shirt to support her all he could.

Typically, it's the home team's "We Back Pat" game, so they wear the shirts. Opposing coaches don't necessarily have to. I would bet when KY has their home game (if they do this week), they will wear the tshirts. If not, it's on them. Mitchell is a jerk no matter what game it is.

My wife (UK fan) has always teased me about CPS, saying if I was ever to leave her she knew where I'd be. We both love Pat! A lot of memories watching the Lady Vols and her steely stare. AWESOME.

I was surprised to see Notre Dame wearing "We Back Pat" shirts - I thought it was mainly an SEC thing. That was a nice gesture by them to do that, before they kilt us.
