We are quickly losing the battle with LGBTIQ...

How many times have you witnessed gays ****ing in public?

And is the ability to **** in the streets what you take the LGBT community to be demanding?
Dude, go back to the original post that started this thread. It was about the gay community using cancel culture tactics to go against people that simply disagree with them. But just like anything else, the conversation drifted towards gay PDA. My entire argument with regards to PDA has been just common courtesy.

If I'm following the examples and teachings of Jesus, then I'm healing the child of the occupying enemy force. I'm saving the adultress from the hands of a bloodthirsty mob wanting justice. I'm multiplying food and giving it without question to a hungry crowd. I'm calling government and religious leaders out on their self-promoting and self-benefiting practices.
What scripture is that?

Which in my view makes the preoccupation many Christians have with homosexuality and abortion nothing more than what I call "armchair christianity". It's really easy to sit back and condemn "those people". It's an easy way to feel good about yourself.

I'm pushing 67 years old and without going into specifics, during the last few years my view point on what I've always believed has done a complete 180 degree turn. It's not an exaggeration to say it happened almost in a minute. It's also been extremely "freeing" for the lack of a better word.
It’s not a preoccupation. It’s people claiming to Christians that homosexuality and abortion are ok and acceptable. And they arent from a Christian perspective and they never will be

Oh, I'm sorry. You're allowed to preach to us about how western values are inextricably linked to Christianity and no one is allowed to point out that you're full of ****?
So, you got nothing? To deny the influence of Christianity on western values is completely full of ****.

Im not denying the influence of Christianity (or many influential Christians) on our culture. What you said was:

You’re standing on the shoulders of giants buddy.
It’s easy to look at things in the 21st century when western civilization (and the moral fabric that exist today) was built upon Christian ethics.

Everyone here simply wants to worry about their own lives. Unfortunately, that is NOT the agenda of the left. That agenda is to degrade the very moral foundation they stand on...

Which I took to mean that the left, the LGBT community, and other "heretics", can have no other foundation for morality aside from Christianity--hence the language I used (inextricably linked). If that's not what you meant then feel free to clarify.

Well, ultimately I’d say no one can have a foundation for morality apart from God. But, I would never say someone can’t know morality without being a Christian.

But, that wasn’t the point I was making. My comment was specifically directed towards how he arrived at his comment. Thank you, good day.

I’d say from a natural law perspective it isn’t acceptable.

Myself and Crush will be the first to admit that many Christians have a really bad way of dealing with these issues. Their inability to intelligently articulate a position doesn’t invalidate the reasons of those that can. We see this in all arenas. I’ve watched conservative interviewers embed in leftist rallies where they ask some basic questions to participants. The majority don’t know jack **** about the issues and embarrass themselves when answering. That doesn’t mean that there aren’t. those who can intelligently know why they are there. It’s always the case that the majority are very poor at understanding to depth of issues.

Okay, but that has nothing to do with the post I replied to. Don't complain about the thread devolving into gay PDA if you're doing it yourself.

And mine was directed at the statement you made regarding how "the left" undercut themselves by denying the very moral foundation they stand upon.

A lot of people claiming to be Christians have shown the world that greed, gluttony, hatred and bigotry are ok and acceptable. "And they aren't from a Christian perspective and they never will be."

Ok and they are being sinners too, what’s your point?

Does the "I" stand for Incel?

The term "involuntary celibate" (shortened to "incel") refers to self-identifying members of an online subculture based around the inability to find a romantic or sexual partner despite desiring one, a state they describe as "inceldom" or "incelibacy".
Maybe if they get offline they’ll have a better shot.
