Concerning the pre-season AP poll, some things that are always constant when the season starts:

1. Ohio State will always be ranked either 1, 2 or 3, regardless of the circumstances (too many TV guys from the Big 10 ( or 12), that way as long as they don't lose, they stay ahead of the SEC teams.
2. Notre Dame doesn't belong to any league, so gets to hog the revenue.
3. Notre dame will clutter up my television every Saturday regardless of their record (almost no regional interest) and after a couple of patsy wins, will jump multiple teams and get up in the top 15.
4. Brent Musberger (no athletic background) will once again use seniority to hog all the good games and casually promote the Big 10 (12), all the while talking offense and defense like he is one great former player or coach.
