I enjoy this much much more than being highly rated and falling flat. Think about these players on the teams UT plays...they believe the hype and coast. Our "lowly" VOLS see it, feel disrespected, practice and play with an attitude and upset some "highly" touted teams. Smokey is one hell of a tough underdog historically! Cannot wait for this season to start

What I hate about pre-season Polls is .... it is not who they believe the top 25 teams are..

It is them forecasting out how they think it will end.

You hear them all the time "with their soft schedule" they will be 10-1 at worst. so #3 in the preseason. It should be BEST 25 teams on neutral field ... Then let the wins and losses shake it out.
