I hate to be pessimistic, but it’s hard not to be after watching the game today. It’s true, current recruits have never seen a good vols team. A good coach most likely wouldn’t come here. Our only chance is to get a lucky hire, and maybe he can change the culture around here.

UCLA, USC, Nebraska, Colorado, etc,. used to be really good a few years ago, too.

It’s going to take us hiring an unknown coach who turns out to be a stud. After which they’ll leave and go to a big school, and we’ll go back to the cellar.
