My wife and I are going to the State game.I am hoping we can get an SEC win on Saturday.I am supporting my Vols this year and this is the last...If there is no coaching chnge next season I will not be in Knoxville next season. My wife and I have been every year for the last 10.Our Vols have become the Vandy of the SEC(no offense Commodore fan).I am concerned about the coach that Hamilton may hire...I do not trust his judgement. Its obvious Fulmer will be gone...I think the Tulsa coach would be a great hire..Anyways..like my post said we are going to the game and I wont boo or hiss our team but I will be critical as I think this is a crucial game.I only hope that Fulmer leaves gracefully..
God bless him..<<<<<<Vol fan thats hurting right now>>>>>

I have to agree if Fulmer is not fired, I will not be attending anymore games myself. I will not waste my gas money to watch us get embarressed by our rivals. Hell we cant even beat UCLA, a team that Carson Newman could probably beat. Im just tired of Phil clapping on the sidelines and watching all the personal fouls and the undiscipline on this team. Its a sad time to be a Tennessee fan!

I think it is pretty pathetic that your going to stop "supporting your vols" even if we don't get a coaching change. Just because we're going through a rough stretch doesn't mean you abandoned your team. But here in a few years when we right the ship and get back on track i bet you'll come crawling back....can you say bandwagon?

if my wife and i go to the same restaurant and get crappy service and crappy food, yet keep coming back for more thats on us. if we choose to not come back till there is a new manager, that does not make us "bandwagon". sheep.

How much cash are you shelling out to attend the games?

I disagree. Not going to the games anymore is a way to show Hamilton that the coach SHOULD be fired, and it also tells them that they are gonna be losing money until they get a new coach.

I dont believe as a college athletics fan I could compare my stance on following my team to the service of a restaruant. Unless of course I attended the games for the concession.:banghead2:

I can't keep going up there and spending the money to be let down week after week. But I will never stop supporting my VOLS. I agree with the change, but a weekend in Knoxville, win or lose, is alright with me.

I've bought season tickets the past 5 years. If there is no coaching change during or at the end of this season I will not buy any next season. I will still love the Vols, but will refuse to watch them if there is no coaching change.

I have been a critic of Fulmer in this forum. I like Phil Fulmer, however unfortunately I think he has run his course. I have expressed that I feel we must lose in order to encourage Hamilton to make the appropriate move. I think Hamilton can only be forced to by the boosters with continued loss. The contract perks he gave Fulmer last summer, in addition to his comments made last year when Fulmer was under fire then, indicate he flat does not get it. I don't know, maybe Fulmer is considering resigning after the season. I cannot think that he is that much in denial, but maybe he is. Fulmer should salvage his dignity and resign, Hamilton should be fired for incompetence.

guys the restaurant stuff was a metaphor. labeling people bandwagon because they want change is just narrow minded. I have lived and died with this program for over 2 decades and I will not support this mediocre BS. you dont have the right to call me bandwagon pal.

Bandwagon I am not my friend..You may be naive in thinking coach Fulmer will turn this program around.I just dont see it happening and I am not exactly sure where the problem lies. How long of a "rough stretch" are you willing to endure?Last season's results were fools gold..
This team could have easily lost 3 more games.I love Fulmer as much as the next guy but I think it is time for a change and I hope the man can see that and I hope they offer him a position in administration somwhere, but he needs to step down soon because our program is falling behind terribly. There is no way this team can compete in the near future with the likes of FL,AL,GA and LSU in recruiting and we will need a hungry coach that can bring this program back up...

check the UT box office. They still have plenty available...I'll be in town for the alabama game as well as the kentucky game. mainly to see my sister at the beginning of the game and halftime when the band comes out. they might as well be the bright spot for the entire game. (This gives me some reason to be at the game until then)...at least they are one of the best in the SEC....they're even guna be in D.C. to welcome a new president at the white house...basketball, golf, and the band all rank better nationally than the football team
