Pruitt has no difference makers rushing off the edge on D. This creates a lot of issues. Disappoint in year 3 he doesnt have 2 great edge rushers.

I have read these posts for the most part. I have a question for the fire Pruitt he can't get it done bunch. Do you not realize a big part of our defense issues are we lost some really good experienced talent last year? We are young at several positions we are starting or playing True Freshmen. This is not an excuse it is a fact. SMH Just who do you think we could hire if we get rid of Pruitt right now? Revenue is way down. We are still paying Butch and would be paying Pruitt for years. Where are the big bucks to hire an elite HC going to come from? Here is something to think about if you want to point the finger at someone. Can we all agree the biggest problem we currently have is QB. Butch Jones told Trevor Lawrence he didn't want him as our QB. That he would not fit in with what we were looking for! Trevor Lawrence grew up a VOL fan. He wanted more than anything to be our QB. His idol was Peyton Manning. That is why he wears the #16. Trevor would be our QB if it weren't for Butch. What would I record be if Trevor was here instead of JG? This fact is not Pruitt's fault. Pruitt needs to fire the QB coach and get PF to try and talk Peyton into being our QB coach. I don't know if Pruitt will turn us around or not. But, he should get two more years before PF thinks about replacing him. Chaney and Weinke should be very very nervous. JMHO GO VOLS!

I’m sick of this crap. We’ve been living with mediocrity for so long I’m emotionless during the games now. I expect little to nothing and that’s what I get.

Yeah, your facts are simply excuses. Arkansas won 4 total games over the past 2 seasons. They won 0 SEC games over the past 2 seasons. They won 1 SEC game total over the last 3 seasons and Sam Pittman has them competing. You want to try and tell me Arkansas has more talent then Tennessee? Excuses are excuses regardless of how you attempt to theorize them.

Maybe this year, maybe next year, but is inescapable - JP is not the answer. The program is not improving and this is year three. He is already blaming Covid, the players, the other coaches and that is the manner of a loser.
