Believe it when I see it. Said it earlier in a different thread, the BYU and UF games would be the barometer for the 2019 season. That was assuming a win over GA ST. Now? All bets are off. Being 2-2 after the UF game is a plus at this point. From this point forward, assuming any game is a "W" is a risky proposition at best.

This is actually Pruitt's first year with his system now in place, albeit the change in OC to Chaney. Still, 6 wins should be achievable. I'm tired of hearing about "youth". Yes, it's an issue in the SEC, but Georgia State is not an SEC team. UT laid an inexcusable egg against Georgia State. No excuse will suffice.

So now? Like I said, I'll believe UT Football is back when I see it on the field. Until then? As Will Rogers once said, Vol Football is all hat and no cattle. Winning cures a lot of ills. So just win.

Go Vols.

We’ll lay a beat down on BYU right after the tooth fairy shows and pays us for all the molars GA State knocked out. I hope to see a much better effort all the way around tomorrow night. I have my doubts though.

When there is no time left on the clock and Tennessee has more points than BYU then I will get on the good feelings train for one game.

I’m not sure about what the OP’s hearing, but I do think we see a stronger performance and effort with a handy win. Maybe not a beat down, but 14-17 point win. This team will be 2-1 headed into Florida with a little confidence growing. Who knows what could happen from there.

Thought the same thing last week. Our daughter said "when we saw a boat from the Vol Navy burn and sink, we should have turned around and gone home right then." I'm staying home to watch it... not because I'm mad at the Vols, but the stupid bass speakers between every play all game long gave me the worst headache. And I'm hard-of-hearing!
