Prayers are headed your way!

My wife and I both have Multiple Sclerosis. My wife was diagnosed a couple of months before we married in 2002, and I was diagnosed in 2008. I have never experienced a loss of vision, and I can only imagine how you must feel. Hang in there, and stay strong my fellow VOLUNTEER!

Keep up the fight, and know another member of the Vol family is sending out a quick prayer at his desk. God Bless!

My father actually had MS and my brother in-law has it. When my father had it in early 90's, he deteriorated quickly. Fortunately, it seems the medication is better now as my brother in-law seems to be doing fine.

He and his family definitely needs prayer to help him through this.

Guys, just an update. I am doing better. While no where near 100%, it's improvement. I am basically just using my cane to maintain balance not mainly for support. My eyesight is unimproved at this point, but it will return, at least some of it, when the inflamation calms more. 6 days of steroids (not that kind) down, 6 more to go. My wife will be glad of that. I told her this has been payback for almost 20 yrs worth of PMS and pregnancy hormones. You dads know what I'm talking about.

I don't want to get sappy or anything, but I truly can't express how deep my appreciation runs for all the prayers and well wishes I have received. You guys don't understand what it means to someone when they are pretty low for strangers to take a second of their time to simply say 'I am thinking of you'. VN and you guys have been a true blessing and an inspiration to me. For that I give you my most sincere gratitude. My situation isn't over. But with the help of my family, my friends, my VN (dare I say) family, and the grace of God, I'll still be fighting. Thanks for everything.

Still ongoing guys. Still a tough time but still fighting. Gonna try to go back to work Monday. Really don't think I am ready, but I'm trying it. Appreciate the prayers. God bless you all.
