We all KNEW that this season would be difficult....

2 penalties, 0 turnovers at LSU. Close plays and bad throws will happen but we caught a break. We did nothing in this game for LSU to take advantage of until the very end. Am I upset we didn't win? Yes. Am I ready to fire the coaches because they made one mistake in their first road game as a staff? No.

Seriously? Did you not see the LSU defender drop an INT there at the end with the only skill player on that side of the field (Gerald Jones) being completely blocked by another Tiger? We had problems. Thankfully, LSU played crappy and didn't capitalize.

How is asking you if you thought we were even going to be in the game ignorant?? I bet you thought we would at least lose by 14, right?? Even though we lost, if you weren't pleasantly surprised we were even in the game, then your just looking for shat to throw at people on here and the coaches, period.

I'm with you on this one Eric. Oh by the way I admit I was wrong to go off on Simms the other day. He has showed some improvement. Well any way now comes the inevitable Hatvol and friends putdown parade.

Last minute of the game Miles was a bumbling clock management moron only surpassed by a Dooley staff who screwed up two weeks in a row on personel switch outs. Embarassing.

If you thought that we were going to be doing things this season, you were only fooling yourself. 2012 is the earliest we will see results, based on our roster alone.

Are you really that Stupid, we took it to a real good defense today, dam did you miss the game.

They're slightly less inept than Miles & Crowton. How's that for credit? Oh, wait. I forgot that Crowton had a better record at La Tech than Dooley.

I want to know when I will see you on the field coaching. It seems you have the pedigree for it. Maybe Hammy's replacement can get you to coach. What do ya think??

Tennessee was in the game because LSU turned the ball over about 20 times. Look at the cumulative yardage the last two weeks and tell us all how optimistic we should be. They've gotten their asses kicked all over the field by two of the worst coached teams in America. That certainly doesn't strike me as cause for celebration.

Man turnovers are part of the freaking game, so stop acting like they just handed the ball to us!

You're right, getting millions to not fail to have 11 men on the field for the last play of the game is an unreasonable expectation. No way hatvol could pull that one off.

I think we should be optimistic. When you look at the talent level and the numbers left courtesy of Fulmer and Kiffin, all you can tell is they don't make many mistakes and they play hard. That's all that can be reasonably expected. The mistake they made today was a ballbuster, but they were trying to stretch the time out by responding to LSU's subs. Somebody just didn't get off the field and we had no timeouts.

I would have no problem if we were out played today, but we weren't out played, we handed them a win. We did it by not paying attention to details and making very fundamental mistakes. It's a game of inches and we gave them all the inches they needed to win.

Sad for LSU...Low Miles jumped around like a little boy with a new bicycle. He should have acted a bit more relieved and composed.

Tough loss but at least it's not as bad as everyone predicted it to be so suck it up and hope we do better the next game

What does Tennessee's lack of talent have to do with a group of well paid alleged professional coaches' inability to get the proper number of people on the field at the end of the game? Further, if you think the staff deserves some sort of gold star for playing a Les Miles coached team close on a day you win the turnover battle decisively, you're setting your standards awfully low.

We didn't "take it" to anyone. Scoring 14 points isn't exactly "taking it" to anyone. If we would have scored 28, I would agree though. We are just doing enough right now to not make mistakes and try to keep our defense off the field all game.
