So, stop pointing fingers at people and deal with it. Today was proof of that harsh reality, unfortunately. I still believe in everything that Dooley wants to do, but they are still only 5 games in, and people act like things should be going perfectly, and it doesn't work like that. I'm proud of them for hanging in there like a hair in a biscuit, but I'm also as let down as anyone else on here about the result. Point being, don't point fingers right now, our program is still not where it needs to be. In about 3 years, if we are still performing like this, then you can point fingers more effectively, because doing right now makes the fans look ignorant really. We all want to win, we just have to be realistic that it's going to be tough to do so at this point. I mean, 66 players on the road and we still almost beat a Top 20 team?? I think that says a lot about our coaching staff, even if someone did possibly screw up that last play. I still support this staff and team 100%, and I hope you guys do to. They need people to believe in them, cause Lord knows it's hard for them to believe in anything right now with what they have went through.

Well, getting your butt kicked is one thing. Losing a game you seriously should have won because of a total bonehead move is different. I wasn't surprised at all though.

Us just being in the game let's me know that Dooley is doing a good job. If we aren't in the game at all, I would be more upset.

Winning close looks better than getting blown out, especially in recruiting.

Positives

I would have no problem if we were out played today, but we weren't out played, we handed them a win. We did it by not paying attention to details and making very fundamental mistakes. It's a game of inches and we gave them all the inches they needed to win.

I just hope that the team stays tough and does not let this get them down when they travel to Athens for what should be a winnable game.

You both are absolutely right. I was just speaking more for the loss itself. This game certainly was a positive in those regards, I just wish it was even more positive as it should have been. The big concern is next week and after. They got totally deflated. Let's just hope it doesn't follow.

What does Tennessee's lack of talent have to do with a group of well paid alleged professional coaches' inability to get the proper number of people on the field at the end of the game? Further, if you think the staff deserves some sort of gold star for playing a Les Miles coached team close on a day you win the turnover battle decisively, you're setting your standards awfully low.

If Dooley does not have a winning season this year or at least a 6-6, then he needs to go, I'm tired of all of the winning about how we are so down, we have to take the Team that we have, and coach them up to go out and find out a way to win a ball game.

If our program cant put 11 players on the field now, we might not ever get where we want to be. Im trying real hard to stay positive about DD , after all he had us in the game, we played basically penalty free, no turn overs, etc, but damn!!!!!!!!!!!

What was your prediction on the game?? If it was anything less than LSU +10, I would be terribly surprised.

So, having 4 coaches in 4 years is a good thing?? Come on now, you got to have some better sense than that.

I agree, sadly.

I don't want excuses, I want results.

So, the coaching staff gets a pass for what should be terminable incompetence at the end of the game because LSU outgained them by a couple of hundred yards but turned it over enough to keep UT in the game?

Answer the question man, don't ask anymore questions. If you are going to sit here and complain about things, at least tell me that you THOUGHT we were even going to be in it in the first place.
