That could quite possibly be one of the worst articles written... sorry, regurgitated. It was assembled as if a 9yr old wrote it for a homeroom assignment. There was nothing new to report, just a bashing for no reason. Who wants to be that Mr. Haynes is an alumni of another SEC school? My bet is he looks like a BAMA tool.

I don't know a thing about WBIR, but I assume they consider themselves a news organization.

Channel 10, WBIR, is a rinky-dink outfit in the minds of many. Not much of substance or quality at that station.

On a sidebar, Bob Kesling was the sports anchor for WBIR in the late 80's and 90's. I thought he did a good job on TV. For whatever reason, it didn't translate well to radio.

Wait, I must have missed something. Did CLK say something about Urban Meyer? And who's this Daniel Hood kid?

Sadly, they're the #1 rated station in the Knoxville area. I have no idea why. All they do is fluff with a couple of news stories mixed in, and not so good weather. WATE has the best news in Knoxville. No fluff pieces, just good news, good weather, and good sports.

As a little kid, I can actually remember him doing some of the sportcasts on the 6 o'clock news.

I was watching College Flash Classics on Turner South, before it became Sports South. I think it was a game between Kentucky and South Carolina. Kesling was doing play-by-play on that game.

BTW, to the rest of the board, it's a syndicated article. Look who it was posted/written by. None of the WBIR sportscasters wrote it. Which shouldn't be surprising, considering the article was more than 100 words in length.

Eh - Kiffin did not get a recruiting violation for the alleged "pumping gas" comment that the writer wrote about unless I'm just reading his paragraph wrong... a lot of fact errors.
