Well...Since apparently nobody was too excited about Mr. Prince, I thought I'd make another one with the same background, but with Wayne. So...Without further ado...Wayne Chism!

Once I get to see him in a Uni...There'll be one of Hopson. I'll certainly take advantage of the exhibitions to hopefully get good ones of everyone else...

There will be plenty of people that want the Prince wallpaper after the season starts.

Clearly, I'm from Memphis. What are you trying to say? Just because he's from Memphis has NOTHING to do with why I say that. He's gonna be a big factor this year.

Clearly, you are from Memphis. What's your definition of 'big factor'? I don't see him doing much more than last year. He contributed decently last year... but also did some retarded things. Hopefully he'll just eliminated the stupid things this year.

If he's a big factor, by my definition, then one of our main guys probably isn't doing there job well and that's not a good sign for what could be if this team grows and plays to its potential. Chism/Tyler/Hopson or Maze.

You might be right. Heck, you might know more than Pearl, who said that JP has made a lot of progress, he's stepped up, he's much more productive now, and it's gonna be up to him and Tatum to fill the roles of Chris and Jajuan. He went on to say he trusts JP and has confidence in him and that, while Hopson and Maze are good, it's up to JP and Cameron to fill those roles - NOT Hopson or Maze.
We'll see how your opinion weighs against his, since you think I'm shallow enough to base my opinion on the simple fact that he's from Memphis. Oh, did I forget to mention that he played the entire season last year injured and still hung 13 on Memphis and I forget how many rebounds in less than 20 minutes of play - Lofton scored 7. Pearl says he's had a 'terrific fall' thus far.

Coach speak. If JP is the one who is supposed to replace our greatest three point shooter of all-time and one that was one of the best (yet very streaky) then we're in serious trouble. Don't kid yourself there, that's on Hopson, who isn't great from behind the 3 point line - but puts JP to shame in that category and even in mid ranged shots. JP cannot play SG. Its just not his game.

And he better be more productive, its his second year in the SEC... he had about as many TOs as points last year it seemed like.

And the countless times he got beat on defense and grabbed the guys shirt or shorts out of laziness and gave them a new shot clock or 2 shots. He can be very good if his head is in the game - but he should not be one of our top 4 guys based on our roster and what we have.

Shooting isn't likely to be your strong point when you've had a dislocated shoulder that you successfully hid from the coaching staff. Incidentally, I've posted questions multiple times on this board specifically if anyone has seen Hopson or Maze (not Prince) practicing. I think JP will be fine. I'm very excited about them coming on board. They should have quite an impact on the team. We'll see if you're right about Prince. Personally, I think he's gonna put some big numbers up if he isn't forced to fill the role of point guard.

He wasn't highly rated for his shooting out of his school either. He just has a bad shot, injury or not. He just uses his athleticism to get to the rim, which is fine. But that's the case with half our roster this year - so someone who can knock down the three consistently this year should be a lot more valuable. That's where Hopson and Tatum will hopefully come in this year. Maze has an okay long range shot as well.

I like JP but i am not sure he will be huge. He doesnt have a great jumpshot not a good ft shooter. BUT he can get up and down the court and every now and then get to the basket. I just didnt see it in him last year.
I really hope im wrong.

JP really started to come on near the end of the season. I think he is going to progress just like every other player progresses from year to year. He will be an integral part of our basketball team this year.

And thanks for the PSD, Crusse.

If I put a picture I took of Bruce on here can you do something with it? And how do I put it up?

Click 'Manage Attachments' at the bottom if you have the image stored on your computer. If you have it posted on a website somewhere, click on the 'Insert Image' icon at the top. There are some guys on here that are wizards with photoshop that can probably manipulate the picture any way you want it. If you only need it re-sized, I can manage that.
