Arkansas, Kentucky, and South Carolina ranked. No Tennessee to be found. I know this doesn’t mean much but this is our reality in Big Orange country.

Dumbass poll then. Arkansas I respect. We demonstrated that we are better than the latter two and should be further improved next year. Spencer Rattler is extremely overrated. He couldn’t get it done against mid tier big 12 teams I don’t think he’s going to be particularly dangerous in the SEC. He’s better than what they had but I don’t think he’s a game changer

Seems like TN fans are completely sleeping on South Carolina. They are gonna be tough this year. Rattler makes them dangerous.

After the Purdue game - not sure who isn't going to light us up.
That Purdue game I believe is the reason UT isn't showing up in a lot of these 'way too early' rankings.

We got a LOT of unanswered questions on the defensive side to be answered before pollsters start believing in us enough to give us a rank.

Big mistake. Unfortunately I can see him easily lighting us up this year.
You forget we already lite them up and will do so again. Beamer is all flash, they will implode. They have become the popular team for next year because they beat a reeling Florida team and got Rattler. People forget in the 2nd half of the season they beat Vandy by 1, got waxed by AM and were shutout by an average Clemson team. People say they improved as season went on. Not sure what they were watching.

Boy, that place is a dump, right? I've seen a few games there. It needs to be torn down and just rebuilt from scratch.

It’s on the state fair grounds and the smell is exactly what you’d expect. They’re very proud of that 1969 ACC Championship, though. Displayed prominently on the walls.

College football top 25: Alabama, Ohio State lead 2022 rankings - Sports Illustrated

16. Tennessee
Josh Heupel hit the ground running, recording a winning season in his first year on the job and rejuvenating a downtrodden fan base. Transfer QB Hendon Hooker flourished under Heupel and should have another big season with 1,000-yard receiver Cedric Tillman coming back. The running game is in capable hands as well. A defense that allowed 29 points per game needs to make strides in 2022.

A lot of our fans can't get past the names on the jersey and don't look at the actual players on the team. We beat Kentucky this year in a close game, it was our best win, but if you can't tell that Kentucky is a much better program now than they were in Fulmer's day, I don't know what to tell you.
