Oklahoma and ga will be difficult on the road, FL is a winnable game. Our talent is as good or better.

If JG stays and beats out the QB room (Bailey) then we will be the only SEC team on our schedule with an experienced QB! I have to think that CJP and our defense will be salivating over this!

Only 1 BYE week? Kinda felt like the 2 Open Dates helped us this year.

It did with lack of depth but we will have more depth now but still need to avoid any injuries at OL and especially LB. If linebackers stay healthy then that is a major plus. Said this a month ago in regards to Bama. We have a bye and they are playing either their 6th or 7th in a row when they play us. Tua is gone and it’s at Neyland. Hopefully, we come in at 4-2 or better and pull it off. I think we will win this one but lose to a SEC team we don’t expect to lose to and finish at 8-4. Seven wins will be a disappointment but not a hugh disappointment. 6 or less would be hugh because it’s a step back. 9 plus and this thing really takes off in 21.

Why does a school in Charlotte use a nickname that relates to the gold-rush era of California?
Their football program was shut down in 1948 and was reinstated about 10 years ago and it’s the total number of games the have won in program history.

Fair enough. I just don’t see how we beat them. Especially given our history against UF.
Really depends on how UT's players continue to develop or if they plateau. UT should start the season stout on the DL. They should be better than they've been when viewed from both depth and quality in a long time. LB could be a little thin but there's talent. UT should be very good on the back end. UT's D started off terrible this year... which wasn't too big of a surprise considering the lack of experience on the DL. That shouldn't be the case next fall. The question is how much more potential is in that group. Everyone is back. Hopefully a lot of potential is untapped.

The O in my opinion STILL comes down to QB play. The OL has continued to develop. Hopefully they will assert themselves in the run game. I for one am not worried about WR or TE. JJ and MC are big losses but I honestly think UT has more speed and pure talent returning than they're losing. I am not high on any of UT's RB's. But if they can be serviceable... I think Chaney can make it work. So again, how much potential is there in these players and how quickly can Pruitt and gang get it out of them?

Would like to put Florida further back in the schedule

yeah, would you do that even with Georgia back there, tho? I kind of like having them somewhat spaced out, Florida, Alabama, and Georgia. I wouldnt want to back load the entire season

Well the obvious 3 automatic losses are Bama, Florida and Georgia. OU could be interesting. While at first glance one might just say well it’s OU and they are a juggernaut. But I don’t know. They will be breaking in a new QB. Now most expect Rattler to be the better passer than Hurts but we don’t know for sure.

Lamb will be gone. Yes the are loaded at WR but I believe our defense will be better. And that’s what will be the key to that game, defense. OU doesn’t play good defense. Our offense isn’t anything close to world beaters but I do think our offense will be a little better even after losing JJ and MC. I think if we can play up to our potential, we can get a close win.

I think we should win at least 8 games. 9 is a possibility if we play up to our potential. It’s going to be interesting to play UGA later in the year. I still think we lose but hopefully we can start being more competitive.

There are no "automatic losses" for Tennessee Football next year...........

There are no "automatic losses" for Tennessee Football next year...........
. 13 straight losses to Bama , 3 straight to Georgia and have lost the last 8 out of 10, 3 straight to Florida and lost 14 of the last 15. How are those not automatic losses at this point?
