There really isn't going to be much surprise next season. Seems some of you want to make controversy at positions where it won't exist.

PG - R. Smith
SG - Lofton
SF - J. Smith
PF - D. Crews
C - W. Chism

6 - Childress
7 - Tatum
8 - Tabb
9 - Howell or Prince

Either Howell or Prince will have minimal, if any, minutes iin 2007-2008. Injuries, of course, would move them up.

Not to mention that Bruce Pearl's system heavily relies on ball handling, and freshmen are far more easily rattled than seniors. Tatum will be a fine player, I expect. However, to think he'd start consistently over a senior with good stroke, defending abilities, 2nd best FT shooter, and has the athleticism to drive to the basket AND rebound is ridicilous.

Your argument would make more sense if Jujuan couldn't shoot well and earned his points from shooting a lot. However, Jujuan shot well from behind the arc. Also, remember, Tennessee was the highest scoring team in the SEC, so obviously we had scorers.

But we didnt have scorers outside of Lofton and Jajuan for the majority of the season, and honestly Jajuan is not a scorer, he can score but he's not a scorer... yea Chism and Ramar both showed that they can contribute greatly in the scoring column, heck even Crews had a couple games where he had 18 or 20, but we need a guy who can flat out score at any point in the game whether its the first 3 minutes of the game or the last 3... Jajuan did a great job this season of knocking down shots but most of his points came in the first half... wouldnt u just love to see a guy we could give it to with 10 seconds remaining with the score tied and drive to the lane or pull up for a mid range jumper for the game winning bucket... we dont have anyone like that right now and Tatum is that type of player, a SCORER

No, the argument makes no sense becasue UT had an good season (at worst, depending on perspective) and Smith was the leading scorer. This wasn't some 14-16 team. They were good, Smith is good and Tatum will keep a seat warm for a starter.

sorry buddy, you are completely deluded. jujuan will start all year, barring injury, no question about it, anybody that thinks differently knows absolutely nothing about basketball.

Ramar scored 10.7 a game
Chism scored 9.1 a game.

if a player on a college team is close to 10 a game, i'll take it.

jujuan also averaged 4.5 rebounds a game.

His season average was 37% from 3, 73% from the FT line and 45% total from the field. none of which are too shabby for an undersized SF

I don't think we'll see Crews and Chism starting together, at least not next year. CBP will continue to bring Crews off the bench next year, rotating him with Chism.

My starting 5 as of now are:

Ramar
Chris
JaJuan
Wayne
Childress

I think Tatum will gradually see his playing time increase throughout the season, but I don't think he cracks the starting lineup (barring injury).
