Whoever Currie announces tomorrow will meet the same fate as Jones in 4-5 years and we’ll be doing this same exact crap wondering who the next sap is who’ll come here to ruin HIS career. RIP Tennessee Vols football....it’s officially dead.

The Snowballs chances have gone up dramatically as for the next couple of days hell will be operating at 30 degrees.

I’m still holding out hope on Petersen he’s the only guy on the board who actually checks the boxes, “the big, expensive, and explosive” hire. A big name proven winner, affordable, low buyout. Fans would approve. Develops talent, recruits to Washington. He wants out of Washington. He showed interest in the job a few weeks back and Currie met with him this week. Will it happen? Idk but if Currie wants to get it right this is the guy!

Outside observation here, but why do you guys think Petersen wants out of Washington?...All I've ever heard is that he loves it in Seattle, and has no desire to leave.

Not trying to stir the pot, lord knows we're having our own struggles here, but I just found all this Chris Petersen talk very curious.

I can only speak for myself but over this football season I’ve read reports of he and his AD not seeing eye to eye, I’ve read reports of him being frustrated with lack of passion and commitment to football. Frustrated with the late night pac12 scheduling disadvantage he thinks.

There were reports his people reached out to UT stating he was interested. Currie met with him earlier this week.

I’m not saying it happens but that’s my hope as he’s the perfect big time hire that just makes too much sense. Like I said not sure it happens but it’s not crazy and unrealistic like some are acting

Leach's qb is a 2 star walk on with one offer from idaho.

And he's put up huge numbers and they have been in the top 25 all season and near the top in offense.

We are Tennessee you goofballs the worst team in the sec in the last ten years.

Lost 4 of last 6 to vandy. Just in horrible shape.

Good news is Leach really wants the job.

He will also be bringing Red Rufnraw to be his defensive coordinator. I also hear he has a line on several recruits ready to commit, Asia Minor a star defensive tackle, Lance Boil running back, Booka Matches linebacker, Cumberland Plateau the top kicker in Tennessee, La Fronia Wineglass receiver and the prize of the recruiting class Albert Bozo, Jr. quarterback.

Leach is a proven coach that knows how to actually "in-game coach". So Offense is no prob. And the rumors I hear, are that if Leach comes to UT, then they will promote their Defensive Coordinator to Interim coach. So from what I hear, if Leach is announced tomorrow as our new Head Coach, then he will be keeping Shoop as Defensive Coordinator and keeping Charleton Warren as Secondary Coach. I haven't heard about any others. I think it'd be very good for recruiting purposes if we can keep Hoke still as our DLine coach under Shoop. Hoke is a damn good recruiter. I'm perfectly ok with giving a Mike Leach/Bob Shoop combo a chance to see what they can shake up in the SEC East. I think tomorrow is the day! Exciting!

Or not announced. What reason does anyone have to think there will be an announcement tomorrow, besides some hokey post with no verification whatsoever?
