WATE Reporting New Coach Announced Tomorrow. [unconfirmed]

Petersen announced tomorrow at 1 PM EST. 12 hours to go.

Edit: Here is your big name, splash hire.

Edit: This was a joke. Obviously I should have used blue font, because I never anticipated folks believing Petersen was a legitimate option...

Line em up on the 40 and first one that crosses the goal line wins... no rules, get there any way you can. Hammers and spears allowed... tickets $10.00.

So write OU in as this years NC! Great! I’m proud that they beat last years 8-4 Auburn team, LAST YEAR!

You missed the point. Great offense now can beat great defense and just because you run a spread doesn't mean you can't be proficient on defense. Good/great offense and proficient defense/ bend don't break can win in this conference which was my response to your original point.

After watching how Petersen interacted with Washington's players at the end of that game it is hard to see him leaving on a plane tonight for a press conference tomorrow. Stranger things have happened though. He would have to tell his team tonight and if he does it will be out fairly quickly.

Washington ST 12th in total D
Washington ST 39th ppg given

Washington 4th total D
Washington 6th ppg given

Petersen > Leach

And Tennessee has at least 1 top 5 defensive stat, but Washington is NOT 7th in D

WSU is 12th in total D...or they were before tonight.

Our top 5 was in Passing D and nobody passed on us because they didn't have to...we were 125th in Rushing D.

who gives a shiz! And what the hell does the QB have to do with any of this?!

He’s getting his ass waxed by a team that couldn’t compete in the playoff last year! That’s more relevant!

So if we can't get Dabo we should just dismantle what's left of the program and quit?

If UT is naming a coach tomorrow, wouldn't they want said coach to be there? Let's look at this logically.... 1) Leach is playing tonight with a chance to play in the Pac 12 title game if they win, so chances are he isn't coming to town in the morning. 2) Norvell is playing in their title game so that means he won't be here tomorrow 3) Lane is playing in his conference's title game so he's out 4) Schiano will be coaching in their title game next week, so he's unlikely as well. Frost to Nebraska is essentially done, so that's out too. So that pretty much leaves Campbell, Mullen, Gruden (longshot), and whatever third party wildcard you want to insert. Hell, I hear the guy at Alabama isn't getting it done, maybe we should hire him....

You didn't mention Petersen.
