who gives a shiz! And what the hell does the QB have to do with any of this?!
Hes getting his ass waxed by a team that couldnt compete in the playoff last year! Thats more relevant!
He certainly lacked the talent to beat Oregon and Oklahoma and others by a large margin.......he is just a great coach.
And yea he develops talent.
Russo just signing off live from the stadium for channel 8. Both Brent Hubbs and Austin Price were on with him, and they said nothing. If this had any legs, they would have said something by now.
At the mighty Washington St. I bring up the Baylor QB (well now Auburn) because your perception is that the spread wouldn't work in the SEC and the only reason QBs in the Big 12 put up good numbers is because of bad D, yet here we see the backup becoming the best in this whole conference and the teams that have run some sort of spread have competed really well with the top dogs. Examples: A&M, Ole Miss for multiple years, Auburn, Clemson last 2 years and tOSU.
Nooooo noooo nooooo these teams all have/had really good defenses! Thats what wins along with a top QB and/or loads of talent! Oregon vs Auburn- Bama vs Wash- Clemson vs Bama- Clemson vs OSU and the list goes on UGA is showing it this season and Auburn showed it tonight!
The better D won the day!
My sources say Jeff franklin and it is a 4 year 28 million NOT including incentives
he never lost to Oregon at Boise...beat them twice and Oklahoma once. he always got players that were subpar on grades that the pack 14/12 would not take....and Harson does the same thing....great players not to swift with grades....look at all the players Boise has in the NFL now.
Last year Oklahoma played Auburn in the sugar bowl. Here's how it broke down: OU had a great offense (even better this year somehow) and a D that gave up 854 yards and 59 points to Texas Tech (though they did get a lot better after that). Auburn had one of the top defenses and a ball control offense with Pettaway and Johnson. OU won 35-19 with the final Auburn score being with less than 30 seconds left.
Well according to the Fox Sports announcers calling the apple rivalry game (and their "sources".)
1. Mike Leach is going to be scooped up by Arkansas or Nebraska
2. Chris Petersen will not want to come to all the drama and pressure we have in Knoxville.
Conclusion: They have no idea and are keeping viewers interested in a Washington beat down. Sources cited include the announcers cousins, friend, who has a brother, who knows a guy who sweeps the floor where Petersen wife gets her hair did.
