watching the Derek Dooley show

Nothing more than one cliché after another one…so common…so predictable…

I watch every week...same 'ol same 'ol. I am surprised Dooley said he was happy with our kicking game. We missed an extra point and a long field goal and kicked a terrible onside kick while georgia hit the long field goal and made extra points. Darr punted good for the most part...except for the one punt he hit about 30 yards.

DD has no answers and should be let go now so we can get a coach in here that can make adjustments and has control over the games situations. Hey but at least the center can make a good snap every once in awhile.

I think we should just have a different coach each year. That way if they suck, they will be gone soon, and if they are good, they can move on to their dream job. Recruits would probably love this too. Continuity is overrated, new stuff to yell about is more awesome.

My only true (whether founded or not)concern to date is the lack of energy/productivity in the 3rd quarter. Something in the combination of the break, adjustments, and the whole in, then out of the locker room thing is out of whack.

Learing on the job in the S.E.C., no halftime adjustments
really bad time management, definite signs of inexperience from all the coaches on the staff........

I would not say Shula stacked the roster. Alabama did not have one player drafted in Saban's first year.

Bama's Seniors in Saban's first year would have been recruited by Franchione.

In Shula's 3 years he recruited 2 5* and 25 4* and 40 3*.

Most of these played key roles in Saban's 2008 and 2009 successes.

Shhhh! The experts here are convinced Saban could take Knoxville Catholic to the National Championship umpteen years in a row. You are going against the narrative.
