I'm not cheering for Bama. I'm rooting for Notre Dame to lose. Unfortunately, they play play Bama, ergo, I guess Bama has to win for Notre Dame to lose.

Have I mentioned I despise Notre Dame?

I was born in south bend and lived in bama for 15 years. Aside from UT, ND is my team so I guess I'll go with them. Not to mention I can't even put into words my hatred for bama their fans and everything that has to do with them.

Yes we will.

As will Notre Dame if they win. It's a contractual agreement with Dr Pepper. The winner doesn't get a choice.

I hear ya. I hate them too. My thing is all of this SEC loyalty mess. The more Bama (or any SEC school) wins, the more kids want to go there. Id rather most of the good SEC teams fail in bowl games. One more bullet for our gun to tell some kid who is on the fence.

I will be wearing my orange surrounded by Tide fans here in Alabama. If the vols aren't playing I cheer the the SEC team. so here goes.

You are not a vol fan if you pull for bama. Period. No one likes Notre Dams but if your seriously pulling for bama you need to go be a fan of another team. It's embarrassing.

Good Lord, man, there's no reason to go that far. Those two words should never be uttered (or otherwise expressed) by a Vol fan...EVER.

I will not root against Bama. But I won't cheer for them, either.

I will chalk it up as a good thing for the SEC if they win. But I will LMAO and thoroughly enjoy it if they lose.

Either way, something positive will come out of it.

Watching the game but don't really care who wins. Just want to see a good, hard hitting game. It doesn't really matter who wins anyways, Bama will still claim the NC.

Let me put it this way. I am not pulling for Alabama. I put money on Alabama to beat Notre Dame. Pulling for the odds. And I want the chance for us to beat the defending national champs.

I get that a lot here in Nashville which I don't really understand. The handful of Irish fans I have here only dislike U$C. We actually go to Vol parties and watch games. Now I will say some of those Vol fans do NOT like ND which they don't have any ill-will towards me. I dislike alabama today but, I usually enjoy watching them play because they play solid football. As for the Vols, I used to watch them play all the time but, since Fulmer has been gone, not so much (probably because I knew Kitten was a p.o.s.).

I'll pull for ND to blow Bama off the field. To heck with the whole SEC argument; if Tennessee has to be at the bottom of it along with Kentucky for the forseeable future, I would just rather not have to see Alabama continue to win championships.
