Watching Kiffin's presser

I'll look tomorrow online, but suspect that there will be some stories about that comment by Kiffin. You guys might be right, but I want to see it, first.

Berry is on now. Very impressive.

Kiffin remains a schmuck.

The fact that he bothers you makes us like him that much more. The days of having the SEC's punching bag for a coach are over. Go pick on Mark Richt now.

You're from Pahokee aren't you?

I can't think of any other reason why a gator fan would be so distraught over a coach taking over a rebuilding program that poses no immediate foreseeable threat to the status quo.

Why say that? Even if its true?

In context, he was patting himself on the back for recruiting well nationally. I just don't get why he has to promote himself by pointing out that he recruited nationally, saying that the local talent is bad.

Watching more ... his ego is through the roof!!! He's bragging about all his miscues !!

Stunning level of immaturity.

Kiffin's "immaturity", which is overblown, is matched only by your arrogance, which is not.

Go Vols.

Majors recruited out of state.

Of course, that's going way back before UF had a team. So, we couldn't expect a Gator fan to know that.

He could have said "We're very pleased with where we are, we are recruiting nationally and having some success."

Period.

Why he had to then go on to say, we have to because we don't have a lot of talent in the state, is simply beyond me.

We'll pass along your suggestions. He will likely give them as much weight as we do.

You know what, taking a step back from this for a second and watching the clips from the other coaches' interviews, I would imagine that if I were the fan of another school I'd resent the hell out of Florida, too. Its all about the Tebow vote and bowing to Florida. It really is a bit over the top, even I'll admit.

Meyer had to recruit outside Utah. Do you think the state would have their panties in a wad if he said that he had to because there was not enough star talent in Utah? This is a non story.

On the other hand, perhaps you could contact Meyer about being on retainer. Seems he and his players could use a lawyer 24/7.

It is absolutely amazing that lawgator has nothing better to do than patrol a Tennessee board and complain about a new coach who is taking over a program that just finished 5-7. This program has lost to his team 4 straight years and he is worried about what the new coach says or does. The defending national champion's fans have nothing better to do than troll around on a team's site who poses no immediate threat to the mighty gators. Gimme a break dude. LG it is really sad. I mean are you so bored that today you had to watch Lane speak and search for a quote to get riled up about? Who cares what he said about the talent in TN? If TN people aren't mad why do you care? I hope you waste lots of time searching for all the stories that are written about this quote because there will be none. If you are worried about Lane turning us around and beating Urban in a few years, then just admit it and get it over with. Otherwise you should really just enjoy the success your team is having now, and let us worry about what we have or haven't gotten into it. Don't waste your glory years listening for us sneaking up behind you, because it will be here before you know it. Maybe not this year, and maybe not under LK even, but we will be back and that is what scares you most. When it happens I wonder if you will still troll our boards then? Somehow I doubt it.

I will be here to get as good as I gave, absolutely.

I've had to do it quite a bit for the last few years in January and February, by the way.

Well, hoss, when you're done "admitting"...consider this...

Steve Spurrier...Florida QB...Heisman trophy winner...Florida coach..."the ole ball coach"...turned his back on Tebow, and Florida, and voted for Jevan Snead...

...and then blamed it on the "Director of Football Operations" at USCe.

That's thinner than an Ethiopian vegetarian.

And you're still a troll.

Go Vols.

I don't quite know what to make of it. It certainly seems plausible.

But on the other hand is it hard to imagine that Spurrier is resentful of where he is now versus what's going on back in Gainesville? Is it hard to imagien him rationalizing that Snead is the better QB because he is a more pure passing QB, which is more what Spurrier likes?

I dunno.'

What amazes me is that so many of the quality prospects that do come from Tennessee choose to leave the state.
