And have to say that I'm really impressed with our players. Humble and confident, able to take questions for the most part. "Taking it one day at a time, one game at a time".

You can tell the Dooley influence on recruiting, going for the whole package...not just players. Not to say they all are able to handle themselves in this manner, but the ones being interviewed handled themselves quite well behind the microphone for 18 - 20-something year olds.

The play on the field shows we're moving in the right direction (even though there's no doubt we'll experience plenty of ups and downs with the youth), but it looks like we're headed in the right direction in the manner we represent the university, as well.

Totally agree. I watched them also and was equally impressed. Jacques Smith could have a future in communications after his pro career.

I thought the same thing. I also think they look like they're in much better shape than the past 3 years.
